-people have said that they might want to tell a friend about something, if they just want to tell the one person, could they not use to private chat function?
- i think that people should be allowed to talk about all kinds of things in chat, if you dont like whats being talked about.. perhaps move rooms, and im sure the people that you were talking to would move with you.. failing that, you could log off chat altogether.
- pming the mods the chat logs is always a good idea, same with post reports. I know ive had posts deleted/edited etc when i really didnt think anyone would.
- if you think homosexuality is wrong, then thats up to you, its your choice. This website has thousands of members each with different thoughts and opinions, i dont think anybody overly cares what you (or any other stranger from the internet) thinks about their lifestyle, its how you say it though, not what you say.
- the *cuddles* and *hugs* thing is irrelevant to the issue you origionally posted about.

Yeah, I don't think I should have to put lots of people on ignore. I feel like this is a site where I should feel welcomed and safe and comfortable, it should be a place where I can come for support or to just chat and distract myself. I feel that a lot of people feel like they can't come one and really talk anymore because of the certain type of chat that is over the line that takes place often, sometimes on a daily basis.

well, i really dont think you can expect everyone to change for fear of offending you. If you know these people upset you, yet you refuse to put them on ignore, then youre not doing yourself any favours.

Qvazzy, this post was made like right after it happened and the post isn't pointless. I'm not sure why we are still discussing seeing as most agreed that some sex talk is fine, but the kind that occurred last night crossed the line. Pretty much everyone is on about the same page as far as that goes.

I did contact a mod, but when I made it public my hope was to encourage more people to report things that are against rules. Cause I talk to alot of ppl in chat when certain talk overpowers one room and people have to move rooms, and while they all hate it, none report it. I was also venting a little and needed to get it out.

why is it your job to make people report things? plenty of people do that they dont need you to remind them to fo it. in all honesty i think this is pointless. you report it to a mod, they deal with it. there is no need for this. it feels as if you were insecure about it and just wanted people to back you up. and im not interested in your insecurity.
its all alot more simple if you just leave it to the mods. it is their job, not yours.
