I know it's supposed to be getting pretty cold in the evenings here, down to -12 in some places, but mid-40s is just insane. The hottest temperature I've been in is 38, and that was bad enough.

I've just seen Anna's thread, and it breaks my heart but so lovely to see she is physically okay &, well, here. Given how tragic the death toll currently is I think that is a massive blessing.
I find this really hard to deal with so I'm going to waddle off. Thinking of you Anna (and anyone else struggling with this right now.) xx
Rach- IT HAS RAINED TODAY. It's gotten cooler (at least where I am) so that's just, oh, it's amazing I can't describe how good the sound of rain is after so much heat.

They got some of the fires out and people re lit them! Just the thought of it has me in tears. People suck.
