Chapter 24
Tom looked back at the two couples and then down at his phone. The girl hadn’t text him back. It didn’t look like he was gonna get any tonight, as much as he wanted to. He looked back at the other four. “Can’t you guys put each other down for 5 minutes?” He asked slightly annoyed. The others looked at him “We really need to do something about this whole Gee/Frank situation. Gee’s obviously gay. Like I said before look at his hair and his make-up and his clothes” Bill shot anther glare at Tom “Will you chill I already said I know you’re not gay. You’ve got Amy. But gee. He’s so obviously gay I mean he was really into that kiss”
Mikey snorted slightly and Hannah elbowed him in the side “Owww what did you do that for!!” “Hannah glared at him “It’s not funny Mikey!” Mikey went quiet and looked at Tom. So what d’you think we should do then?”
“I think we should get them alone together,” Suggested amy, “I mean that’s how it happened last time right?” Bill nodded “Yeah I agree, at least if we’re not around they might actually do some talking.” “Or not” Giggled Mikey. “For f***s sake Mikey can you be serious for like five minutes!” Said Hannah getting up and moving away from him. Mikey went quiet again and then said “I think we should go somewhere else, Gee might hear.”
They all got up and made their way to the cemetery where Frank had found their secret out. They sat down under an old hollow oak tree and started talking again. “So,” Said Mikey “You wanna get them together on their own, to talk about their kiss that Gee said didn’t happen? Am I the only one getting confused by this” “Are you always this slow Mikey?” Laughed Amy, everyone else laughed except for Mikey who just glared at them. “Gee’ll never go for it though, “Said Bill uncertainly, “If he’s in denial this much he’s not gonna agree to meeting Frank alone is he, that’d be like admitting he’s gay.”
They all looked at each other trying to figure out a plan. It couldn’t be that hard, but it could go wrong as well. Gerard didn’t like being lied too and deceived and if it was his friends that did it too him, things wouldn’t go down very well.
“Well,” said Mikey “We could all go out, well not all of us, like Me, Gee, and you two.” He added looking at Bill and Tom “Hey how come we get left out?” Asked Hannah sulkily “Because you’re mean! And Amy gets left out because she laughed” Smirked Mikey. “Everyone laughed!” said Hannah Glaring at him. Amy looked pissed off too as she turned to Mikey “Mikey you’re such an ass you know that right” Mikey didn’t say anything. They carried on talking through their plan and when everything was set, they headed back.
They’d all be staying over again to make the plan go a little easier, so as soon as they got back, everyone settled down to sleep. When Mikey was sure no one was awake, he crept quietly down to Gerards room and knocked on the door. When he got no answer he quietly walked in and sat down on the bed by Gerard. Gerard was still awake and he’d still got tears streaming down his face. He looked up at his younger brother “What’s wrong with me Mikey?” Mikey looked down at him, he saw the half empty bottle of clear liquid and looked at Gerard. “Gee you’re drunk. Get some sleep and you’ll feel better, besides we’re going out tomorrow.” “Who, all of us?” “Nah just me, you, Bill, Tom and Frank, call it a boys day out or something like that now get some sleep”
The next morning everyone was awake, Hannah and Amy were still sulking at the fact they’d been left out but they knew it was for the best. The boys left and went and got Frank, then they headed off into town. Bill, Tom and Mikey waited for the right moment. Gerard and Frank were sort of talking. Exchanging a few words here and there. “Gee I uh, I’m just gonna go look for some stuff for my um bass.” Said Mikey. That didn’t sound very true and he knew Gerard didn’t completely buy it “Bill and Tom are gonna come with me. You know what I’m like. I need keeping under control or I’ll spend all the money” Laughed Mikey nervously. Gerard glared at him but gave a slight nod. Mikey, Bill and Tom walk off around the corner and watched Gerard and Frank. They couldn’t get caught, Gee would go crazy if he found out he’d been set up. This plan had to work
As Gerard and Frank walked through the streets of town, their eyes exchanged swift glances. Neither knew quite what was going on, but both felt the same butterflies that they had felt so many times before. Gerard's mind raced. Why was he feeling like this? He knew he didn't like Frank, at least not in that way anyway... or did he? He felt so confused.
As they carried on walking, Gerard's mind flickered with these same few questions.
After a while, Gerard realised... he couldn't live in denial any more, he wanted Frank, he needed Frank, and with that he slipped his hand into Frank's hand. Frank wasn't sure what was going on, but he clenshed Gee's hand anyway. This made his stomach do millions of somersaults. He could see people staring at them, but he didn't care. Being gay, he was used to this, but he wasn't sure how Gee felt about the sharp glares they were recieving, but he was too scared to ask him, incase Gee's anger got the better of him like so many times before.
As they strolled on for a while, still holding hands, Gee whispered gently in Frank's ear,
"Come back to mine later, yeah? Without the other guys". Then, he winked.
Frank felt a warm glow inside. Finally, he thought, Gee is ready to accept his desires.
As they carried on walking, Gerard let go of Frank's hand and pretended like nothing had happened. Frank couldn't understand this, but he was so excited about what was to come, he soon forgot about it.
Around an hour later, Gerard signalled to Frank that he wanted to go home. Frank knew, or at least hoped he knew, what was about to happen in a mater of minutes.As they walked back to the Way household, both of them realised that they had left the others behind looking for "stuff for Mikey's bass". Neither of them cared.
Just as they got in through the door of Gerard's house, Frank felt Gee's lips pressed onto his. They both walked into the living room, still with their soft lips connected, they sat on the couch. Frank remembered the time not too long ago when he had looked at this same couch and wished that they could be like the other couples, kissing and cuddling. Now, it was finally happening for him. He tried not to smile, but couldn't help it because he was just so unbelievably happy. As Gee slipped his tongue into Frank's mouth, he closed his eyes and felt a wave of sexual tension run throughout his body. This is what he had wanted since the last time they had kissed in the kitchen. Gee would not admit it, but the same wave pulsed through his body too. As Frank wrapped his arms around Gee's waist, Gee pulled away and beckoned Frank upstairs. A million thoughts were going through his mind. Was he about to have sex with a vampire? Something about this got Frank all excited.
As they got to Gee's bedroom, Frank started passionately kissing Gee's neck.
"Tryna be like me?" Gee giggled. Frank knew exactly what he was talking about...
As they got into the room, Gerard pushed Frank onto the bed, and he climbed on top of him. Frank undid Gerard's blood red tie and unbuttoned his black silk shirt. Frank lay there and ran his warm hands over Gee's body. He couldn't believe this was happening. It was then Gee's turn to undress Frank. As he pulled off Frank's t-shirt, he whispered,
"I've never done this before"
"Don't worry, I've..." replied Frank, but he was cut off by Gerard's mouth pushed against his.
As they slipped under the dark red covers of Gee's bed, Gee felt his hands slowly unbuttoning Frank's tight black jeans. As he lay there on top on Frank, he felt Frank's hands do the same. This got both very excited. Frank turned over as he knew what was about to take place.
As their bodies got closer, hotter, and more intimate, Frank gave out a moan of pleasure. Within minutes, but what seemed like 2 wonderful hours for Frank, it was all over. He had finally got what he had always wanted since the first day he had seen Gee.
As they lay next to each other, Frank turned to Gee and said,
"As I was trying to say earlier, I've never done this before either... thank you"
And with that he wrapped his arms around Gee. And they simply lay there, thinking about what had just happened...
Suddenly, Gee spoke;
"Don't tell anyone about this, OK?" Frank felt upset by this, but the softness of Gee's voice told him that he didn't mean it maliciously, he simply didn't want people finding out about what had gone on. They both smiled at eachother and closed their eyes. Before they knew it they were asleep... in eachother's arms.
Next morning Frank woke up, he had forgotten were he was, but as he looked around he reconized it at Gerards room. He smiled as the memories from the previous night flooded back. And he rolled over, only to be greeted by a empty space.
Confused, Frank looked up and spotted Gerard sitting in a chair in the corner of the room.
"Frank last night was a mistake, it was never meant to happened, I was just caught up in the moment" Gerard said, never making eye contact with the teen in his bed.
Frank was lost for words, last night meant so much to him and now here he was having all that ripped away from him and telling it him it was a mistake.
"Frank I think you should leave"
Frank nodded. He didn’t want to argue. He gathered his closed and got dressed and headed for the door when Gerard stopped him. Frank thought Gerard had reconsidered and was going to accept it and let him stay.
"Use the back door, I don’t want anyone to see you"

Chapter 26
Gerard waited for a few minutes and went upstairs. He didn’t think anyone would be up yet, it was still pretty early. He walked through the lounge and into the kitchen where he was greeted by the whole group.
“How long have you guys been in here for?” Asked Gerard shiftily
“Why got something to hide Gee?” Chuckled Tom “What makes you say that, I haven’t got anything to hide.”
“Gee we know, about you and Frank,” Said Bill “It’s no good denying it, Amy and Hannah were watching a movie in Mikey’s room, they heard you and Frank come back.” “Frank didn’t come back with me!” Lied Gerard. He glared at Amy and Hannah “I’ve already told you I don’t like Frank like that anyway.”
“Well why would they lie about it Gee? They’ve got no reason to.” Said Ray.
Gerard narrowed his eyes and the red glint had returned, “Well why don’t you ask them! I’ve told you, I’m not gay, I don’t like Frank and he DIDN’T come back with me!” He glared at the two again.
“I think I’m gonna go home, see you guys later.” Said Hannah getting up and walking out, “Yeah me too, I’m not gonna sit here and be called a liar!” Snapped Amy and she followed.
Frank moved quickly. He’d been outside the whole time, he’d heard Gerards new outburst and he didn’t really want to get caught listening for a third time. Gerard probably would kill him this time. He crept around to the front of the house and ran quickly across the road and through his own door. He looked around quickly and ran upstairs. At least his dad wasn’t home. He’d be in big trouble if his dad found out where he’d been and what he’d been doing. He got undressed and stepped into the shower. He felt sick knowing he’d let Gerard do all those things to him and then tell him he didn’t mean them. He spent ages in the shower trying to scrub every trace of Gerard from his body, he knew it wouldn’t work, the memories were still fresh in his mind. Gerard couldn’t have meant what he said to the others. He’d been the one who’d asked Frank back, he’d been the one who’d wanted it all to happen. He’d been really into it. Frank didn’t understand it, he felt used and dirty but at the same time, he couldn’t stay angry at Gerard, after all Frank had been in denial at first aswell but he’d never done what Gerard had done.
He walked back into his bedroom and sat by the window. What he saw happening felt like a knife going through his heart. Gerard was in his front doorway with a girl in his arms kissing her, in full view off Frank. Gerard opened his eyes and looked up at Frank but there was no emotion in his eyes at all. Frank felt fresh tears run down his face but he didn’t make an effort to stop them, he wanted Gerard to see just how hurt he was. As he looked back down, Gerard was no longer there but the girl was. She looked upset. She looked up at Gerards house and then ran off down the road. Frank couldn’t understand what had happened.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the dark figure sitting on Gerards roof, A black hoodie pulled up covering it’s whole face apart from it’s eyes. Frank watched as it climbed back down over the back of the roof. A few moments later, the door knocked and Frank went down to answer it. Gerard was standing there, tears in his eyes. “Frank I’m so sorry, I never meant to hurt you!” Frank stared at him for a moment and then pulled him into the house. He kicked the door shut behind them and led Gerard up to his room, kissing him all the way there. They went into Franks room, forgetting to shut the door and laid down on Franks bed together, still kissing. As they began undressing each other, Frank stopped and looked down at Gerard, “Gee I don’t wanna do this if you’re just gonna leave again and pretend nothings happened, “ Gerard looked back up at Frank and crashed their lips back together without saying another word. It was perfect, even better than the last time as they laid in each others arms struggling to catch their breath. Gerard was just about to speak when they heard footsteps coming up the stairs, seconds later Franks father was in the doorway, “What the **** is going on?” He shouted…..
Chapter 27 Franks dad didn’t let his son explain anything he stormed over completely ignoring Gerard and grabbed frank by the arm and dragged him down stairs, Gerard heard every step Franks small body hit, and a bang as he hit the bottom of the stairs.
"I WILL NOT HAVE A FAGGOT FOR A SON" yelled Franks dad, another crash was heard.
Gerard couldn’t just sit there and ignore what was going on. He jumped up and quickly picked his clothes up off the floor and got dressed and ran downstairs just as he saw franks body being dragged into the kitchen.
Gerard followed trying to formulate a plan on how to save Frank in his head. He entered the kitchen and saw Franks already bruised body in a heap on the floor and his dad standing over him breathing deeply.
"I TOLD YOU, YOU HAVE TO CHANGE. OR ILL MAKE YOU CHANGE, YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDN’T LISTEN TO ME" and with that he kicked Frank sharply in the stomach making Frank cry out in pain.
Gerard couldn’t deny it, each scream and whimper from Frank made his heart break a little each time. He couldn’t stand and watch he had to do something.
He ran over to Franks dad and pulled him away from Frank and sent a punch flying into his face, he heard the snap as his fist collided with his noise, making it pour with blood.
"You little bitch, who do you think you are" said Franks dad, getting ready to retaliate.
"You don’t wanna know" replied Gerard, the red in his eyes prominent.
"You another fag boy arnt you?" the words stung Gerard, but he couldn’t let it show. He had to stand up. He had to protect Frank. The teenagers dad approached Gerard and before the black hair teen could do anything he felt himself being slammed backwards and sent flying over the kitchen table, hitting the cold hard floor with a bang. A sharp pain went through his spine and he cried out in pain.
But he couldn’t let that stop him, he didn’t care about the pain. It wouldn’t damage him and would heal pretty quickly anyway.
He saw Franks dad approach the body on the floor and pull him up with his hair, but Gerard didn’t concentrate on the fact he was pulling Franks hair, he concentrated on the shiny metal object in the fathers hand.
"Do you want me to chop your dick off? Is that the only way I can stop you being a fag"
Gerard saw the blade rise and knew he had to do something. He jumped up and dived over to the two and grabbed Franks dad and before he had a chance to react, Gerard sunk his fangs into the cold flesh.
