Thankfully I've not got a large family and they and friends know I'm on a budget so only got to get 3 human and 3 pet family presents and *I think* 3 small friend presents and 1 larger which is half sorted.
'Cause I'll always remember you the same.

Thats good. I have a large family but only buy for 5 friends, one secret santa, 2 grandparents, brother and 4 parental types. The boots 3 for 2 is a lifesaver.
I tend to agree! Where I can I will do collect in store so can not pay postage and not have to wait in all day and just wait in line to collect my parcel. I find that much easier.
Or going right at the end of the day I will go in a shop properly. As my town is quite dead around 4 so I have an hour of no hecticness nonsense.
'Cause I'll always remember you the same.

Thanks, I got easy things so hopefully it should be alright, I just need to get around to doing it.
Yeah I tend to do that too but because one of the gifts contains alcohol it had to be delivered, and they cant narrow it down from 8am-9pm on any of the next 4 days! Ridicuous. At least postage was free because of how much I spent.
Im decorating wooden letters, sewing a cushion cover, sewing a pin cushion and a bird ornament, and decorating a canvas shopping bag.
I'm not so good with sewing but like your ideas. I have decorated wooden letters before, that was enjoyable and didn't take too much time - depending on what I was doing (have done different things before). And I do like the sound of decorating a canvas shopping bag. Thats a neat idea.
Shame the parcel isn't trackable I guess you could use the next few days to get on with some of this craftiness whilst waiting in.
'Cause I'll always remember you the same.

Ugh, tell me about it!
If the crowds of people don't freak me out enough, the aggressiveness of some of the people shopping will do it.
I'm having to do the shopping in person rather than online this year as I won't be able to order online and have it get here in time for me to wrap, parcel and post to people so I'm doing it in small chunks with my other half, as he knows the signs of me getting overly anxious and can get me out of the situation if needed.
I'm feeling... Cautiously excited, I think is the best way of saying it.
It's the aggressiveness that gets to me too.
I'm glad you have your other half to support you!
Cautiously excited is a good phrase - I like it!

Made salt dough decorations on Friday so will probably just give those to friends as teeny presents. They seemed to come out well - we stamped and imprinted the dough with patterns and left to air dry.
Need to do the Christmas clean this week as putting tree up next week possibly.
Only just started shopping, I have two girls and three boys to buy for. Wish it was just five girls. I never know what to buy boys.
I'm also really disappointed about the John Lewis advert... I thought I was the only too! I mentioned to a few friends my feelings on it and some said I must be cold hearted. :| Like I get the point, but it could have been portrayed better. Let's just say it didn't make me cry, and I cry at puppies just yawning ffs!
Going back to the Costa drinks, I had a salted caramel cappuccino yesterday and it was delicious! :D It's a shame I'll be leaving there on Wednesday. xD
I tried the Starbucks hot chocolate for Christmas this year, and it was amazing! I especially loved the chocolate cream, which shits all over the Costa one... Oh God that sounds wrong considering... :P
I bought my boyfriend a Lego Star Wars advent calendar. :) I hope he enjoys it whilst I'm on holiday. It comes with R2D2 dressed as Rudolph, and C3PO dressed as Father Christmas. :P
Don't get me started on the salted caramel brownie from Costa. Oh my God. I wish that was around all year!
To answer something I read, Costa haven't stopped making their iced drinks. You can still request them and they'll make them for you, they're just not up on the menu board at the moment. AND if they refuse to make them for you, you are in your right to complain. They have all the stuff to make them with. *nods*
I LOVE THE SAINSBURY'S ADVERT! I'm shouting because it is by far my favourite one! I loved Mog as a kid. ^_^
I did loads of Christmas shopping this weekend! Bought my best friends presents, got some more for my boyfriend, and something for his mom. Still have more to buy too but I ordered a couple more things for my boyfriend this weekend.
"I know you're sad, so I won't tell you to have a good day. Instead, I advise you to simply have a day.
Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes, and don't give up on yourself just yet.
It'll get better. Until then, have a day."
I am currently making a Christmas cake. I meant to do it a while ago, but better late than never! :D
