^ I think it did sound more appealing to me before cutting was a serious problem for me. It wasn't so great anymore once it all started to come true...then I was like "f***, I was warned about this, how did I still let it happen?"

"I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love." ~Mother Theresa
but have printed it off to put in the locker of this person who has just started cutting herself..
As a little kid you believed in fairytales,
that fantasy of what your life would be: white dress; prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill.
You closed your eyes and had complete and utter faith.
Eventually you grow up. One day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears.
But the thing is, it's hard to let go of that fairytale entirely because almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith,
that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true.
Hi, wow that really touched me, it is sooo true, i always scan people arms, just hoping that im not the only one, but it seems i am. And the part about the clothes, the swimming, the shopping, the carrying a blade, a pen whatever around with u its all soo true, its any eye opener, i have not cut myself for 4 months now. it has been so hard but its worth it. I am going to print it off and have it on my notice board so that if (heaven forbid) i do ever want to cut again i can look at it and realise what i am doing.
