they have bans on explicitly pro blogs. However, somethings which may not be considerd pro on tumblr are allowed. examples:

'i lost x weight this week.
I havent eaten in x time, t
his is all I ate today'
as well as pictures/videos of cuts (very fresh cuts at that) pcitures of suicide or suicide methods

All of these break ryl's rules, and this is why tumblr has had to be banned. Not so much for pro tumblrs, just thoughtless ones.

Tumblr is also cracking down on pro self harm and pro ana blogs. People got pissy about that.

Yeah you blog and reblog gifs, pictures, blogs etc..

I don't think you actually clame it as your own, you just share something you like with people that are following you.

Basically, Tumblr is a site where you repost images/quotes that you like/are interested in. They will still be attributed to the person who originally posted them so you are not claiming them as your own. You just choose what you post on your blog.

This is really disappointing, especially to those who don't abuse the rules with the links. But then again, I guess my Tumblr audience is more fandom based anyway and so not really the taste of many of those on here. *shrug*
