Just Googled coke float, and guys, they don't look particularly nice. What do they taste like?

My mate ordered a coke float once. It was like a weird chemistry experiment gone wrong - it bubbled...and bubbled.....and bubbled....and the guy serving it was just like "I've never made one of these before and I never want to make one again!". She assures me it tasted as bad as it looked.
