Sure, I'd like to be adopted. I was usually the adopter as opposed to the adoptee on a SI site I frequented several years ago; it would be nice to be getting shelter, too, as opposed to only giving it.

I mispoke; I got "adopted" by a number of people, but it was usually after I adopted them first, as it were, so I don't want to mislead anyone on that issue. I got a great deal of support there, but left for reasons not having anything to do with the site or the folks on it
