I didn't mind skags, a corrosive weapon does the trick, or a fire weapon to the mouth. For me it seemed to be a fifty-fifty chance whether or not one (two isn't impossible!) badass elemental skags spawned. But when that happened I simply ran back to the fast travel!
Money means nothing in Borderlands, so spend it if you find something good in a vending machine. If you know about the 'secret' red chest, I'd go get that, it's always done me well with good weapons.
I'm really looking forward to Batman: Arkham Origins. I wasn't thrilled when I heard that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill wouldn't be returning to voice Batman and Joker, but it looks excellent and Arkham City is one of my favourite games. More of the same is welcome.
I bought Civilization IV today. It's in German, and I don't yet know if there's an English option as I haven't installed it yet, but if not, at least it will be a good opportunity to learn new German words and phrases while playing it. They don't teach enough about military conquest in beginner's German lessons, after all. :P

Where is the secret red chest lol?
I'm at level 25 and things are working better. I can kill things with my rocket launcher without 25 shots. I even blew up the big turrets by the waterway and lock
I decided to finish my game of Empire Earth before getting started with Civ IV. I think I'll start playing it tonight or tomorrow. By the way, it's funny to see just what the computer in EE will or won't tolerate from you. He didn't seem to mind my non-stop nuclear bombing campaign, but building the Library of Alexandria REALLY pissed him off.
i finished Borderlands. Debating starting Borderlands II now. I'm cued into the mechanics and could go with the flow but the dystopian environmental thing gets tiring

Borderlands 2 has a much more varied environment than the first one, but if you are getting tired I'd take a break and try something else.
I've been playing Fez over the weekend. Quite a cute little game, with interesting mechanics. Simple on the surface, but more to it really.
You are such a gamer. How did you get that way? Not to pry lol. I got into it from playing with hardware.
I played four 2-D games: Trine, World of Goo, Machinarium and Braid. I didn't like any of them depite 90s rating on Steam.
I'm not really, I buy very few games and play relatively rarely. I just enjoy what I enjoy and make sure I spend my money wisely! Been playing since the Master System days, and still have my Master System, Mega-Drive and SNES all hooked up and ready to play.
You didn't like Trine?! Whaaaaa?! Trine (and the sequel) are gorgeous games. Simple, yes, but so, so pretty.
I've finally gotten around to playing Civ IV. Nice of them to provide a tutorial for once; I know a lot of people don't like tutorials on general principle, but a complicated game like Civ sorely needs one. It's a huge improvement over Civ III.
I've been playing GTA IV recently while waiting for GTA V to come out.... Counting the hours now lol :P Also have been playing some Skyrim & Metal Gear Solid
Have you ever confused a dream with life? Or stolen something when you have the cash? Have you ever been blue? Or thought your train moving while sitting still? Maybe I was just crazy. Maybe it was the 60's. Or maybe I was just a girl... interrupted.
I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside. I tried groups, didn't work out just made my depression a lot worse.
