I'm happy with our draw Accrington Stanley just eminds me of the add with the kid saying "Accrington Stanley who are they?"
On a international note who were the goal keeping subs on the england bench? i get i don't know but even the commentators didn't Gerrard played ok with 2 great goals, and yet another case for goal line tech as there was no way that ball crossed the line or the french linesman could have seen it. but we need to pick it up before the 3rd Sept when we need to turn up for the game for the start of the euro qualies
I was quite shocked by blackpool winning but by 4 goals i was half expecting them to be the whipping boys and not be sitting 2nd after day 1 but there is still along way to go.
Nolan has been named Newcastle Captain with Smith as vice again although he was pretty much captain all last season
Barcelona hammered by Seville .Hope second leg is better
It became like a sort of prison. Encased in a silver shell, words so full of bleeding need spilled like drops on dry leaves. And all the while laughter prevailed a long way from here. Nowhere land, nowhere time, nowhere space.
Liverpool were unlucky to draw with the Arse, No doubt they will come out with all the excuses in the world like how the Pitch was too green or something.
hello all my footie friends! I missed the pool game cos of work ,really wanted to see it .Yeah the pitch was prob luscious !

6-0 win over Aston Villa! Fair play. Our 4-0 win over Donny has been overshadowed now :(
Nah your 4-0 was a good result with another ex-toon scoring and playing well for you i will be shocked if your not up next season.

so 4 games which have finished 6-0 and we are 2 games each into the season and only 3 teams with no points not a bad start.
To be honest we looked shakey for the first 30 mins today but after that we looked a different side stepped up our game a bit stunned to go in at half time 3-0 but Andy's first time out at home in the number 9 shirt and to bag a hatrick was great even the legend that is Shearer was happy about it (altho i think he won a bet with that :P) Managed to go all day with out hearing the result as i was working so taped it on ESPN just finished watching it and it took me back to the 1st Keegan reign and the great Sir Bobby and i now have the blaydon races stuck in my sisters head who is a Man utd fan
The following content has been hidden - Reason : so you can get it stuck in your heads as well :p
Aw went to Blaydon Races, 'twas on the ninth of Joon,
Eiteen hundred an' sixty-two, on a summer's efternoon;
Aw tyuk the 'bus frae Balmbra's, an' she wis heavy laden,
Away we went alang Collingwood Street, that's on the road to Blaydon.
(chorus)
Ah me lads, ye shud only seen us gannin',
We pass'd the foaks upon the road just as they wor stannin';
Thor wes lots o' lads an' lasses there, all wi' smiling faces,
Gawn alang the Scotswood Road, to see the Blaydon Races.
We flew past Airmstrang's factory, and up to the "Robin Adair",
Just gannin' doon te the railway bridge, the 'bus wheel flew off there.
The lasses lost their crinolines off, an' the veils that hide their faces,
An' aw got two black eyes an' a broken nose in gan te Blaydon Races.
(chorus)
When we gat the wheel put on away we went agyen,
But them that had their noses broke they cam back ower hyem;
Sum went to the Dispensary an' uthers to Doctor Gibbs,
An' sum sought out the Infirmary to mend their broken ribs.
(chorus)
Noo when we gat to Paradise thor wes bonny gam begun;
Thor was fower-an-twenty on the 'bus, man, hoo they danced an' sung;
They called on me to sing a sang, aw sung them "Paddy Fagan",
Aw danced a jig an' swung my twig that day aw went to Blaydon.
(chorus)
We flew across the Chain Bridge reet into Blaydon toon,
The bellman he was callin' there, they call him Jackie Brown;
Aw saw him talkin' to sum cheps, an' them he was pursuadin'
To gan an' see Geordy Ridley's concert in the Mechanics' Hall at Blaydon.
(chorus)
The rain it poor'd aw the day an' myed the groons quite muddy,
Coffy Johnny had a white hat on - they war shootin' "Whe stole the cuddy."
There wes spice stalls an' munkey shows an' aud wives selling ciders,
An' a chep wiv a hapenny roond aboot, shootin' "Noo, me boys, for riders."
(chorus)
The song is now usually sung with more modern language but retaining the tyneside dialect. For example the chorus might be sung:
Oh! me lads, ye shud a' seen us gannin,
Passin' the folks upon the road just as they were stannin'.
Thor wis lots o' lads and lasses there, all wi' smiling faces
Gannin' alang the Scotswood Road to see the Blaydon Races.
I'm torn over the Newcastle shirt i want it but don't if the badge is just an iron on if it's not then i will get it but i'm not paying all that cash for it if the badge and everything on it is something they decided would save them cash and hope it's ok.
Ouch,looks like Geordie boy Chops will be out for a while
How the f*ck is that not a penalty and a red??
Oh and the season before last's joint top goalscorer Ross Mccormack has been sold to Leeds,our rivals.Shame as he could have been good cover for Bellamy.
