Sam i had an early pregnancy scan to calm my worries today so you can ask for one. I did exaggerate a little though about the cramps etc. :-/

Just back from tunisia to snowy northern ireland and all i want to do is sleep. Dylan is not wanting to sleep at all. Hope he goes back to sleeping soon. To top it of i have a horrible y upset
I love slings. A ring sling worked best for me in early days. Especially for breastfeeding on the move.
Laura, you've had implant a while now you should be covered. matt and I tested mine out an awful lot lol. Go to gp for reassurance but I doubt they'd even do a blood test as it's highly unlikely. Why do you think you might be pregnant? It's usual to have messed up periods til your body adjusts, I had 12 weeks of bleeding and spotting then nothing until I had the implant removed. It can also cause moodyness and sore boobs as your body adjusts. Try not to panic xxx

Oh hey, so, theres a good chance that i may punch the next person tht tells me their baby sleeps through the night and has done since day dot in the face.
My friends 2year old has never slept through the night and only sleeps around 3hours at night. Maybe 20mins a time in her mums bed.
My son Did t sleep through til 7 months. By 10months he started waking up very early. At 11-14 months he woke up early and wouldnt go down to sleep at bedtime. 15-16 months he refused to sleep And we ended up doing controlled crying. After 2days of persisting Not letting him out of the cot he is now back to sleeping just shy of 17months.
All babies are different. I do believe a good routine helps and that they will sleep i. Their own time especially when being made to stay in cot and not giving anything to do. Always remember that "this too shall pass" they wont always wake at night wanting mummy and daddy. Xx

Gideon was doing awesome with his sleeping, so yesterday I figure what the heck i'll try and start him with a routine. Gave him a bath, feed, diaper change and read a book together. Lo' and behold! The child doesn't sleep a freaking wink. Screw routine i'm sticking with what worked XD
I had mine self'settling via controlled crying etc but now they are nightmares. 9pm chloe was asleep in my bed and ella was sat up in her bed with etch-a-sketch drawing. If anything wakes them up they end up in my bed for fear'of waking the other one up. Ella at 1am was screaming her ear popped and until 2am shshe didn't settle, finally she was in my bed asleep, but I spent most of the night pushing her over to her side of the bed and being kicked and the snoring.... both my kids snore. I can however, put them in bed and leave them and they will eventually stop playing and self settle. If one is tired they have been known to put themselves to bed before tea time! If ella has a bad night's sleep she gets too over tired by bedtime so we snatch a nap between nursery and picking up chloe.

Im starting to panic about having two kids only 2 years apart. Im absolutely plagued with exhaustion right now and nap with DS1 for half an hour in the afternoon and head to bed at 7pm when he goes to bed also. With another young baby and a 2year old napping and early nights aren't going to be possible. I just hope i can cope as my husband will need to work after the two weeks paternity is over.
Hmm I have a slightly embarrasing issue. Everytime I am sick I wee a little. It isn't an issue usually but with a rather nasty dose of morning sickness this time round it's occurring rather more than I'd like!
Anyone any magic cures? I'm doing pelvic floors but just didn't think I'd have to resort to old lady pants at the age of 30!
Since the birth of dylan ive constantly had a liner on. If i laugh, cough, sneeze, jump or let my bladder get too full it leaks. When im vomiting and havnt emptied my bladder before hand its very embarrassing its a gush and a run to the shower as the pads just dont hold it.
I was seeing a nurse at the community hospital and have been told after another birth it will quite possibly be worse. Ive been doing bladder emptying exercises and pelvic exercises and been told an operation will most likely be needed
Yeah that was a ramble with not much advice. Keep doing pelvic exercises and wear a pad through the period of morning sickness and hope that it improves. If not then do make an appointment to see your doctor for a referal xx
Yeah I will do. That must be awful as even a small amount is very annoying! As for having two so close my friend is about to have her second (her first is the same age as Elliot) so ill let you know how she finds it and any tips and tricks! Another friend will have her two about 20 months apart so it's pretty common and I'm sure you will cope once your dealing with it.
Did anyone else's bump measure small? The first time they measured I was right at the top end of 'normal' on the chart then it didn't grow at all and it put my right on normal. Now it has grown a little bit but I am right at the bottom end of the curve on the chart. Last time I saw the midwife she said if it wasn't going up much or at all then she would send me for a growth scan but once again she is off ill so I saw a different midwife this time. This one just said it was probably to do with the position the baby was in and not to worry. Which of course I am ignoring and worrying anyway lol

I kept measuring small but was never sent for any scans etc, two days before I had him I was still able to get away with people not knowing I was preggers. My dr said the ultrasounds were so inaccurate it wasn't worth it unless I dropped way down on the charts. Im sure you're fine :)
mine wasn't Katy, but there were a few girls on the pregnancy forum that i was on that did and they turned out absolutely fine. I think one of their babies was a little on the small side, no problems though, but the other 2 it was, as you said, the babies were laying right at the back near the spine, so wasn't much of a bump.
and again, everyone's bumps are different. i looked small with Jasmine, i didn't look pregnant until quite late in the pregnancy, i just looked like i'd been at the pies! (a patient on the ward i was at who knew me from a few years ago said i looked like i'd lost a lot of weight since then. I was 8 months pregnant!)
And Jasmine came out a good size.

seeing the photo of Gideon reminded me that i haven't put a photo of Jasmine up for a while!
nearly 9 months old now. she can wave, clap, and when she's really excited she flaps her arms and legs then stops suddenly, it looks like she's doing a karate chop when she does it! and she shouts at people for attention. literally shouts!

I had my second scan yesterday and everything is developing normally. Baby has long legs though, they put 3 measurements on my notes, and 2 of them were 20wks+4 and baby's legs were 21+6!! It seems to have taken on A's strong chin, which will be unfortunate if it is a girl!!
Baby wouldn't cooperate and as wriggling about all over the place, but I still can't feel it moving =/ I still haven't gained any weight yet though, but I did have weight to lose before I got pregnant
