Helloo everyone:) I am reasonably happy for a change, I bought a nice jacket and top from Evans today! Having nice clothes to wear always helps me feel better in myself, even if I am huge and hate myself for that.

I do hate having to buy online though. Means waiting, and then seeing if it fits nicely, and the hassle of posting things back if they don't. I really envy "normal" people, I miss the days of going into any high street shop and buying things. I used to hate shopping back then though, so never made the most of it. :( Stupid stress and comfort eating.

Where can you run to escape from yourself?

I'm starting to wonder how good Evans is... the other day I went hsopping and bought stuff from there and New Look (for the first time in about 5 years). And I'm a size smaller in NL than Evans. Which makes me wonder if I'm actually as big as I think I am? I would have thought Evans sizes would measure up since it's a plus size store, and I always thought NL ran small... hm. Plus evan's is so expensive, but I guess some of the clothes are lovely.

Bleeding Angel- I'm really getting pissed off with my flatmates eating my food too. It used to just be bread and stuff, but last night someone took the last 2 bananas out of my cupboard! MY HEALTHY FRUIT FOOD $%^%&$%.

I have that with food housemates nicking it, I had a whole jar of peanut butter that I got because I fancied some, I come back and then all of it's gone. I only used it on a piece of toast!
Luckily my housemates don't like healthy food so I'm ok in the way that they don't steal it. I'm not ok in the way that there is always unhealthy stuff around like biscuits and cakes :(

My housemates are ridiculous with just taking my food, but it's mostly the boys that do it, so I know that I'm not the only one being targeted!

If I've brought treats back from home (my grandma bakes for me) then you can guarantee that they'll be gone sooner rather than later. Also, stuff like apples and kiwis, because they're not overly cheap it annoys me.

On the whole intimacy issues - i was with my ex partner for 16 months and he never saw me naked. Not even once. :/

Just watching Gok Fashion Fix (here in the UK he's a GOD for curvy women!) and found a new website : http://www.curvety.com/ goes from a size 14 - 28 :)

I bought some jeans from Evans and was horrified by how many sizes I had to go up, but their tops all seemed generously sized.

Evans can vary - i've not found them very generous in the bottom department but have on the top department. Sometimes i have to go lower, and sometimes higher - so i wouldn't worry about it too much hun. It also all depends on your shape - for instance, i've a big bum/hips but a small waist, so i gave to get a bigger side to get over my hips but when they sit on my hips they're slightly big (you know the area going from hips to waist - they slip down) and belts just..dig in and are uncomfortable. >.<

I get all my clothes from Evans pretty much, or Simply Be. Used to LOVE yours but i like trying on clothes and my local one closed.

Yeah, I have a small waist and big hips/bum too. I love it as a shape, but hate having to by pants to suit.

^hehe I noted that down too! I wrote the address on my hand. I just checked it out though, and there isn't much there that I like :(

Evans is expensive..but I have resigned myself to this fact, because I can't shop anywhere else. (apart from Simply Be, equally as expensive!). I always browse for voucher codes online before I buy, I can always find something, I got free shipping this time, which yeah isn't a lot but it helps.

I think you might be right with sizing actually, my clothes from Evans seem smaller than ones in the same size from Simply Be, and because of my huge boobs I did struggle to fit in a dress I bought the other day. I don't usually shop at Evans much any more, they haven't got such nice clothes as Simply Be (I love the Joe Browns range!)

My sister steals my food, and my socks, my tights, my hairbrush, basically everything I own! Usually it either doesn't come back, or it's ruined when it does come back. I mean, it cost me £5 for one frigging pair of tights, and she rips them. :| Which brings me to another question, does anyone know any good sites for plus size tights? Esp for ones that aren't horrendously expensive?

Urgh I get that with clothes too, that weird baggy bit at the waist area. I have a waist 3 sizes smaller than my hips and boobs(which thankfully are the same size), which can be annoying.

ZOMG WANT.

Anyone have £45 just rolling around? Nobody? Darn.

I rarely buy my jeans at Evans anymore. They never seem to sit where I was them, damn my shape. So I bought 4 pair of jeans at Lane Bryant when I was in the States. SO comfy.
I'm pretty sure my hometown has a Yours, or if it doesn't it did. It used to be quite touch and go with stuff, some of it felt kind of mutton dressed as lamb type things...

Tell me about it! I put on tshirts that would go to the hips of a normal person with average sized boobs, and it ends somewhere ridiculous like just under my boobs, or around my waist, or something. I tend to buy long floaty tops/tunics, for this very reason! :P

I have trouble with them fitting around my arms. My arms are freaking huuuuuuge. And it's SO hard to find clothes with Sleeves that are big enough. I tried on a few jackets the other day and the sleeves were exactly the same size on the bigger size! It's crap. It was waaay to big around the middle but tiny on the arms. And I have broad shoulders too. Grrrrrr!!!!!!!
