I started watching running with scissors and got about 30 mins in. All I can say is there are some strange people around!

Okay so there are some amusing lines if you know a little bit about Freud and so on but it hasnt gripped me yet.

Amy (spoons) I have London to Brighton not watched it yet though.

I have'nt watched a new film since Saturday. I haven't watched more than one film a day since Saturday. I didn't even see one film yesterday. Its killing me. I need to find me a way home and a film shop.

American History X is one of the best films of all time, so much to learn from it, so many little things and an ending which is really sad, one of the few films which has brought me near to tears at the end and i dont do crying at films, its just awesome and clever and edward norton is amazing, just generally awesome if you havent seen it watch it!!!
The Crow, the sex when it comes to films, so amazing and sad and full of good ways to live your life and brandon lee RIP was amazing and looked so in depth into the character and oh just amazing, if you havent watched it watch it but bear in mind its early 90's and brandon lee died before the film was finished!!
Black Hawk Down, a brave film considering its subject matter and its release date just after 9/11, but alot of fact in it and just an awesome film, i hate the army and everything it stand for but they were brave men who fought those days.
Saints and Soldiers, a really weird way to make a war film about the Malmedy Massacre, its about building up relationships with the characters and you dont want them to get into fights you want them to make it back safe and sound. Its brilliant, if you like stuff where you build up a real relationship with characters and where the film looks into how war affects relationships. amazing and made for under a million dollars too.
The Platoon, amazing film really powerful and moving, stars a young Johnny C McGinley and a brief showing of a very very young Johnny Depp.

Release the fear of my pain, In so much pain
Give me the will to fight, Every obstacle that I have inside, Release the fear and, Hear me now
Words I vow, No f*cking regrets, **** these chains
No god damn slave. I will be different,
I'll stand here defiantly, My middle finger raised
F*ck your prejudice

Just watched the house of sand and fog and i must say its rather depressing. Though I actually like that kinda thing. It made me look up Jennifer Conneley on imdb and i can't believe she's pushing 40!!. I've had a bit of a crush on her ever since labyrinth, she has been in some of my favourite films like reqiuem for a dream and a beautiful mind. stunning.

I've done real rubbish with films this week.
I've only watched Ratatouille, Lost In Translation and half of Capote because i keep falling asleep =[
