I agree, I would be pretty frigging annoyed, especially when you are doing something good and putting the work in for the group. It doesn't make sense.

It is quite rude in my opinion, I think if someone creates something then they should be acknowledged, it's not about like feeling like you need bragging rights fgs, it's fair and cool for people to be aware of who is behind something that they might like or pay attention to, so you are definitely not being silly.

But that would involve having to get a lot of stuff reprinted, which would be seen as a waste of money for something stupid & then they'd all hate me
It's okay, I'll have to let it slide.
If I ever do anything like this again though, I'm demanding something on there that credits me as the artist.

I did some art work for the LGBT group I go to to be made into promotional stuff (to get more members and stuff for the group) in my own time and shizz & I signed them all because it was all my own work.
But my signature's been deliberately taken off the work before printing, and there's nothing on the posters/postcards etc that credits me as the artist.
Do I have a right to be a bit annoyed by this?
Or am I overreacting?

No one expects you to be happy because you're turning 18, Marie. I'm 18 and I'm in no way happy. Your dad wants you to be happy - not for his sake, but for yours. He's never been through what you have and so it's hard for him, and others, to understand. I do understand your worries, Marie, I really do. I never expected to make it to 18. Never in a million years, but here I am and I'm happy that I am, although it is hard to see it like that sometimes.
