Total side note here, but does anybody know why Cardiff and Swansea play in the English leagues? Was wondering this today. I know there's a welsh league but is it amateur?
there was no welsh league when they were founded so joined the nearest league.
other welsh clubs join the league and non league system also.
(sigh) outplayed,outsung,only positives is Leeds away next season,besides that it,all doom and gloom down south Wales.

I just ordered my England shirt for £42 printed front and back and delivered from JJB who have 20% off world cup shirts until monday so much better than the £70 it would of cost me else were.
ho hum. That was fun getting soaked on Wembley way, Being diverted by police and then shouting and shouting and shouting. My wembley experience was completed there and then..didn't really need to bother getting my seats. That match was CRAP and I'm not just saying that cause we lost. Millwall thoroughly deserved to win that match. Oh well, here is to another year in League 1.

Never got to see the game yesterday as I have too much else happening at the moment, but hear my mate Cuthbert was involved in one of Millwalls goal, shame he is such a sound guy and football, miss him at St Mirren and I dinnae really like Millwall, oh well better luck next season.
I will be getting my season ticket this week, lets just hope we get a decent manager in and someone buys the club soon, or else its another dreary season in the SPL

It was two bad matches however in both matches we never played all top 11 players at the same time, also i would rather struggle in warm up matches to see how players deal with the pressure and then turn up in South Africa with there A game.
Also in these friendlies the players have a lot of things on there mind like will i won't i be going to the world cup which can add a lot of pressure to them.
I don't really see England winning the world cup. I only just see them getting through the 'group games' Shame really but, they're arn't as good as they and the press like to think they are.
I hope they prove me wrong though.
Finally deleted 'the football league show' from saturdays game. Can't torment myself with it any longer. onwards and upwards.
