It took about half an hour to do. Plus a lot of imagination. lol.
You won't believe it, but I've always lurked in here. I found the Fun and Distractions forum to be really useful to me, as all the threads that I used were good fun and helped, as they were intended, to beat the urges. But There was this one thread, called "This message should ALWAYS be in top 5" that I wasn't so sure about. I wasn't quite sure about the point of it. Yes, I understand that there's not much point in most of the threads here, but this thread in particular scared me. I looked at it and all it seemed to say was *bump* or variations on the theme.
But one day, I got into it and I bumped. I found it was really quite fun, and more challenging than it had appeared to be at first. I posted again, and again. I got into conversations and I made friends with people. All through this one thread. I worked out imaginative ways to bump the thread, including hide box after hide box after hide box, bright colours, hide boxes AND bright colours, many, many different ways. And now, as stated by Fairytales Tell Tales, I "show true dedication to this thread". And that's the way it's going to stay.
The lesson to be learned from this? Thank you all. Lets keep this message in the Top 5. Let's make it fun. Lets have conversations and keep the thread going, so that people don't see page after page of *bump*. Lets go, guys!!!!
