Chapter 159 "Right, that’s sorted, and your getting the list from Mikey later right?" said Amy writing the last few names on the list.
Hannah nodded.
"Ok. We just need to buy decorations but we can do that tomorrow!" said Amy clapping her hands.
"And buy presents" said Bill giggling slightly.
The girls faces lit up as they looked at each other "SHOPPING TRIP!" they shouted together before giggling.
The boys groaned – except for Bill, he was the only one of the boys who actually liked shopping. "We can do that tomorrow though when we go shopping for the decorations"
Zacky, Brian and Jacoby were happy about that. That meant they didn’t have to go on a shopping trip. They could just go to the mall in a few days and be done within an hour.
"Hey I forgot to ask - can our girlfriends come to the party?" said Jacoby looking at the two girls. He thought it was best to ask them considering it looked like they had put themselves in charge of the party planning.
"Of course!" smiled Amy as she added their names to the list.
"Does Gee know what’s happening yet? You know, with his 19th and all?" asked Zacky
Bill shook his head "Nope, no-one knows, its different for everyone"
"Can we go home yet?" moaned Gerard as they entered the tenth shop that hour.
Pembe giggled. "Nope! Right do you like anything in here?"
Gerard quickly glanced around. "Nope"
"You’ve said that for every shop" said Ellie looking at Gerard.
"Yeh well I want it to be a surprise, I don’t wanna pick it out myself" Said Gerard pouting,
They four rolled their eyes.
"Fine lets grab a coffee and something to eat and head back then" said Ellie heading towards a little café.
They ate and had a coffee and walked back to the house to find their friends sprawled out on the sofa whilst Zacky and Bill were having a battle on Guitar Hero. It was obvious Zacky was winding.
"That’s not fair!" shouted Bill as ‘Game Over’ flashed on the screen.
"That’s what you get for trying to beat a someone who plays guitar!" Zacky giggled.
"Yeh but your shiit at guitar" said Bill giggling.
Zacky pouted. "At least I can play something!"
"Yeh but… SHUTUP" said Bill sitting down pouting. Amy laughed and kissed her boyfriends cheek. "You can sing" she giggled.
Bill beamed.
"YEH I CAN SING"
"Big whoop" said Zacky rolling his eyes as he sat on a chair before getting a pillow thrown in his face.

Chapter 160
Gerard, Ray, Pembe, Ellie and Bob got back to the house pretty quickly. Gerard walked in first and dropped down on the couch next to Frank, sulking slightly,
“Awww what’s wrong baby?” Asked Frank kissing his boyfriend gently
Gerard said nothing and laid his head on Frank’s shoulder,
“Remind me never to take him shopping again!” Said Bob, walking into the room and sitting on the nearest chair. There was one seat left so Ellie sat on her boyfriends lap so Ray and Pembe had somewhere to sit.
“Why? Was he that bad?” Giggled Amy.
“He’s worse than a girl! Seriously. And then he decided he didn’t want to be there when we get him the presents so it was a waste of time!”
“What are you guys doing here anyway?” Asked Gerard lifting his head up slightly and looking at the three friends that weren’t a regular part of their group.
“We wanted to see how y’all are doin’!” Replied Jacob getting up and hugging his friend, “Everyone’s still talking about what happened in school y’know.”
“Really?” Asked Gerard. He was shocked that people were still talking. It had happened months ago, “Anyone say anything?”
“Nah, just the usual “FREAKS” things like that.”
Gerard smiled. If only all the jocks knew what’d really happened. They wouldn’t be so quick to name call then. He’d love nothing more than to go back and feed on the whole lot of them. He laughed quietly to himself before turning to Frank,
“Wanna head off home? We still need to sort some stuff out in the baby’s room.”
Frank nodded happily and the couple got up off the couch and said goodbye to their friends before heading off. As soon as they’d gone, the talk turned back to party planning. Hannah and Mikey were sitting in the kitchen doing the family list for the party, Amy was discussing decorations and shopping with bill and the other four were still trying to decide what to get Gerard for his birthday. Zacky, Jacob and Brian had headed off to let their girlfriends know about the party.
Mikey and Hannah came back into the lounge and handed the list to Amy. The guest-list was looking quite big already.
“So we’ve got the list, the venue and the invitations sorted.” Said Amy, checking the things off as she said them. They still had loads of work to do but it was all coming together.
“Mind if we come shopping with you tomorrow? We still need to get Gee’s presents sorted.” Smiled Ray. He still didn’t have a clue what to get him.
“Yeah that’s fine. We need to go pretty early though so we can get all the stuff and sort everything out. So d’you guys wanna crash here again tonight and then we can head off first thing.”
The group agreed and everyone settled down for the night. The next morning, they set off early, into town and split into two groups, Bill, Amy, Hannah and Mikey went off to get the decorations while the others were sorting presents. They were gonna get all the presents since Amy had given them a list. It made things easier. They went into the first shop for the decorations. Bill and Mikey kept quiet, knowing if they said or did the slightest thing wrong, they were more than likely going to get shouted at. Ray, Pembe, Elli and Bob came back an hour later having got all the presents. Half the decorations had been brought and the rest were taking a long time to decide on.
“Can we please take a break? I’m getting a headache!” Whined Mikey. The two girls glared at him but agreed that they’d go for coffee before finishing the shopping. The group made their way into the coffee-shop they normally went to and ordered their usual drinks. They’d just sat down when Bill looked up at the door,
“****! That’s Gee and Frank!”
The rest of the group looked over and saw Frank and Gerard quickly look around before deciding to go somewhere else since there was nowhere to sit.
“That was close. We still might see them in town though.”
“Well, you guys go back with the stuff and ma and Hannah can finish shopping in peace. Without you whining about being bored.”
Bill and Mikey looked unsure,
“Look it’s the middle of the day. Nothings going to happen. We’ll be an hour tops.”
After a bit of persuasion, the guys finally agreed to let the girls finish things themselves and headed off with the rest of the shopping. Finally, after two hours, the girls were back home. Everyone was looking at the pile of shopping in the middle of the floor. It hadn’t looked like that much when they were in town. The girls decided to let Ellie and Pembe wrap the presents, while they went and sorted all the decorations out. It was looking like an awesome party already.
Chapter 161 Gerard lay in bed that night, he could hear Frankly breathing lightly beside him. A clear sign he was asleep. Gerards mind was racing, tomorrow was his birthday, tomorrow he would be 19. He told everyone he was calm and everything. But inside, he was bricking it. He didn’t know what would happened. He had been told every vampires 19th had been different, but no-one ever said how. No-one ever spoke of it. It had scared Gerard. He just hoped he would have time to enjoy his birthday. He knew his friends were planning something but they had been very good at hiding it.
On the other hand, Gerard was also shiitting himself because in less than a week was Frankies due date. The baby would be here soon. He had no idea how to take care of a baby, he hadnt really been around them. Only now and again when a family member had a baby and they came to visit, but it had been years since he last held a baby, he just hoped Frankie had more experience or they’d both be in trouble. Sure their parents, well mainly his mom, had said if they needed anything or needed to know anything, she was just a phonecall away. But they couldn’t keep phoning her. It just wasn’t fair. They would have to learn themselves, it couldn’t be that hard could it?
Gerard sighed and got out of bed, carefully not to wake his sleeping finacee. That was another thing that was bothering him. The wedding. They had to save, they had to plan and everything. It was going to take forever. He was sure their friends would help out – especially the girls. But it still stressed him out so much.
He couldn’t believe all this was happening and he was only 19.
Gerard reached the roof and sat down, leaning his back against the chimney. He loved the view from here. They had chosen a house on a hill and you could see the whole of New Jersey from it. Gerard saw the lights flickering across the state and smiled. He loved being out here. It gave him the space to think. It was so relaxing, just sitting there listening to the sounds of the night. He loved it so much.
He put his head back and looked up into the night sky. That was the most relaxing of all. He loved just sitting there watching the sky. Thinking about anything and everything. He always wondered what was out there, beyond the stars and the moon. It was amazing to know there was so much out there not yet discovered.
The stars made him smile, no matter where you were in the world you could always see them. Knowing that the person you loved the most could see them too. That what made him feel close to people when he was away on holidays and everything. Knowing they saw that too made you feel like you had this amazing connection with them.
His mind went back to his own life. Sometimes he thought he was too young for all this. Too young to be a father, too young to be engaged. But to be honest he couldn’t be happier. He loved his friends so much. They had always been there for him no matter what. Then there was Frank, Gerard loved him so much it was unbelievable, Gerard couldn’t imagine life without Frank, he couldn’t imagine life before Frank. Franks was the reason he woke up in the morning. Frank was the reason he was living. The meer throughout of Frank made a smile spread across Gerards face. He was truly the happiest he had ever been.
His gaze went back down to the streets of New Jersey. He loved watching people. He loved thinking about them. Complete strangers. He think about them, think about their lives. Where were they going? Were they going to see someone? Were they in a relationship? Everyone has their own life, and sometimes you cant help but look at other people and imagine you had their life, if just for a day. Just to see what it would be like, living in someone else’s shoes.
But Gerard didn’t. He didn’t want to swap his life for anything. For the first time in a long time he was happy.
Gerard didn’t notice Frank climb onto the roof and sit next to him.
"What are you doing up here?" asked Frank.
Gerard turned his head to look at his boyfriend. He kissed him lightly on the cheek and snaked an arm around his waist.
"Just thinking" he replied.

Chapter 162
Frank smiled at his boyfriend and then looked back pout of New Jersey. He could see why Gee loved sitting up here so much. It was a similar view to the one they’d had when Gee proposed to him. He smiled to himself at that thought and turned to Gerard. He really loved him. He couldn’t imagine doing anything without Gerard there and it was times, like this when it was just the two of them, that were truly perfect.
“C’mon Gee, lets go back to bed. I don’t want you all sleepy tomorrow.”
Gerard smiled lovingly at his boyfriend and they carefully climbed down and back into their room. They cuddled together under the covers and Frank fell asleep almost instantly. Gerard didn’t though. He was still thinking about his birthday. What was going to happen to him? Sure he’d spoken to his friend Matt Cortez about it, but then it was different for every vampire so that didn’t really help him much. He closed his eyes and thought of the person next to him. With Frank, he could face anything, and with that he drifted off to sleep.
The next day was chaotic for the rest of the group, they were all gathered where the party was being held. It was still really early so no one was in the best of moods and they still had loads to do. They were all rushing around doing everything except for Amy and Hannah. Bill and Mikey had insisted they just organise things. They didn’t want their girlfriends rushing around and getting stressed in their condition. Finally after a lot of shouting from the girls and a lot of rushing around, everything was finally set. All that was left to do was for them to get ready themselves.
Frank was sat in the kitchen. He was actually ready before Gerard for once which had annoyed Gerard a lot. He looked at the clock and then got up and shouted up to him,
“Gee we’ve only got an hour before we have to go out!”
Gerard appeared at the top of the stairs, “Where are we going anyway?”
“Nowhere really, just meeting the others for a drink y’know.” Said Frank. He was pleased with himself for coming up with that so quickly.
“Yeah fine.” Said Gerard sulkily.
Frank smiled to himself and sat back in the lounge. He didn’t understand how Gerard could be so grumpy on his birthday of all days. They’d spent all day in bed as well so he didn’t have any reason to complain. Frank felt the baby kick and move around and smiled to himself. He wondered what was going to happen to Gerard as well. Nothing had happened yet. Or maybe it had and he didn’t know? The whole thing confused Frank completely. He wondered if he’d go through it when he was 19. After Gee had changed him of course. His thoughts were interrupted by Gerard standing in the doorway and glaring at him.
“Happy now?”
“You look amazing.” Smiled Frank, knowing that a comment like this would change Gerards mood instantly.
Sure enough Gerard broke into a smile and hugged Frank tightly before kissing him softly,
“I really love you. So much.” Smiled Gerard,
“I love you too! Anyway, we need to get going.” Smiled Frank.
They headed out of the door and started walking. It was only down the road and Gerard couldn’t drive since he didn’t know where it was and Frank couldn’t fit behind the wheel anymore either. They walked hand in hand before stopping outside a building. Frank didn’t give Gerard time to question him, he pulled him towards the door and led him inside. As soon as they got in the lights were on and Gerard saw all his friends and family there. It bought tears to his eyes. He couldn’t believe his friends had gone to so much trouble to do all this for him. To decorate everything and to get everyone around. It was amazing and it only made him love them more. The main group of friends came over and hugged him and wished him happy birthday and then he spotted Tom and Kiro. He rushed over to them and hugged Tom tightly,
“Dude I missed you!” He said happily
Tom laughed and hugged his friends back and then Gee greeted Kiro in the same way. The rest of the group came over and they started talking about what had and hadn’t happened yet,
“So anything different happened?” Asked Tom, unsure how to word it.
“No, I don’t feel any different. Sure it’ll be nothing.”
“He’s lying. He’s bricking it!” Said Frank loudly, causing the whole group to laugh. Gerard smiled to himself before being led off to the rest of their friends.
Chapter 163 Gerard smiled. Nothing had happened. Well nothing that he knew of. And he liked it that way. But what if it was a cruel joke? A cruel joke that was played on every vampire on their 19th just to make them scared? Gerard would kill Matt if it was.
But Gerard soon forgot about it as Frank pulled him over to the dance floor. Gerard hadn’t noticed the DJ in the corner. And he was playing some of Gerards favourite songs.
Gerard let the music flow through him and his body moved with the music and he felt Frank move next to him. He was so thankful right then. His friends and family were amazing. They were the best thing that had ever happened to him.
Before he knew it several hours had passed and Frank was pulling him towards the buffet table.
"Frank.. I don’t eat that" said Gerard nodding towards the food.
Frank rolled his eyes. "I know! But I'm hungry! And you’d look like a plonker dancing on your own" Frank giggled gesturing towards the empty dance floor. Gerard laughed and walked over to the buffet table hand in hand with Frank.
Frank pilled his plate full of food and followed Gerard to a table were the others were sitting and laughing with each other.
They all looked up when the two approached.
"Hey! Enjoying the party?" asked Tom looking at Gerard. Gerard nodded.
"Yeh its great! Thanks a lot guys" Gerard smiled "Anyway Tom, when did you get here and why didn’t you tell me?"
"Flew in last night, and we didn’t tell you cuz it’s a surprise idiot" laughed Tom.
Gerard pouted. "Great I'm being called an idiot.. ON MY BIRTHDAY!"
Tom just laughed and so did everyone else, including Gerard.
They finished their food and got back onto the dance floor, well everyone except Gerard and Frank who decided they just wanted to sit there for a minute.
"Thank you so much" said Gerard facing Frank.
"Its not me you should thank, it’s the girls. They did it. They wouldn’t let anyone else even try and organise it" said Frank cuddling upto Gerard.
Gerard just smiled and watched his friends dance.
"Come on, lets go dance" said Frank pulling Gerard back up. Gerard just laughed and rolled his eyes and let himself be hauled onto the dance floor and once again he let the music flow through him.
He had been dancing for an hour now and he was beginning to get exhausted. He felt himself going slightly dizzy but he put that down to being dehydrated from the dancing. He decided he would go and get himself a glass of water but when he tried to walk he felt his legs to to jelly and before he knew it everything went black as he hit the floor.
Several screams were heard in the crowd as they saw Gerard floor. Frank screamed and knelt down beside Gerard grabbing his hand.
Frank looked up for help and he saw Matt Cortez working his way through the crowd and over to Gerard. He knelt down next to him and looked Frank in the eye.
"Frank don’t worry okay? Its happening now, its nothing to be afraid of, he’ll be fine in a minute" said Matt.
Frank nodded, still unsure.
But as Matt had said Gerard slowly opened his eyes a few minutes later, Blinking as his eyes adjusted to the light and he tried to get up. After a few attempts and a little help from Frank. He was standing.
"What happened?" he asked making his way over to a chair.
"I don’t know" said Frank honestly.
Gerard didn’t say anything. Did the thing happened? He didn’t fell any different. And He didn’t think he looked any different.
As he sat there thinking about what have could have happened he noticed Frank staring at him with his mouth open.
"What are you looking at?" asked Gerard turning to face Frank.
"Y..y..you just made that chair move without touching it!" said Frank, still in shock.
"What? What are you talking about?" said Gerard. He was slightly confused now.
"Do it again. Do what you just did"
Gerard didn’t think it’d hurt so he repeated his actions, but this time his gaze was on the chair infront of him. And sure enough it rose slightly off the ground.
Gerard broke his gaze and the chair came crashing to the ground. Gerard sat there, his mouth open in shock.
Matt Cortez saw, and walked over. He decided it was best if he explained what was going on.
"Gerard, it looks like you’re a bit confused" Matt laughed taking a seat next to Gerard.
"That’s a bit of an understatement!"
"Right I guess I better explain" Matt sighed "It happens to every vampire on their 19th birthday, why? No-one knows. It just does. On a vampires 19th birthday they get a power. It can be anything. And it looks like yours it telekinesis. The ability to move things with your mind, with no psychical contact needed. The little black out you just had is it finally developing, that’s why before you blackout you felt ill and dizzy. Its normal. It just means now, you have become a full vampire."

Chapter 164
Gerard sat there for a few more minutes trying to take everything in. He couldn’t believe what had happened. He looked up at the rest of the group in shock. They were all looking at each other in disbelief. They were all kind of relieved as well now that they knew what was going to happen to them. Gerard got up carefully, he still felt a little strange but he guessed it was more shock than anything else. The group decided it was best not to question him too much while he was still getting used to things so they continued with the party as if nothing had happened,
“So Frank. Gee’s had all our presents, where’s yours?” Smirked Tom,
“Gee’s already had my present.”
“What was it?” Asked Bob curiously,
“Um…it’s between me and Gerard.” Said Frank turning quite red.
“Ewww I didn’t wanna know that!!” Said Tom turning away quickly.
The group laughed. They’d missed having Tom around and Kiro as well. The group had grown to love him like they loved each other.
“When are you flying back anyway?” Asked Frank,
“A week or two. Kiro has to be back in three weeks at the latest. Band stuff y’know.”
Gerard wandered over then, “Frankie, I think we oughtta head off now.”
“But Gee!!!”
“You need to rest and anyway I still feel a bit weird. I’ll probably be alright when I’ve slept.”
The couple said goodbye to their friends and gathered up Gerards presents, before making their way home.
“I can’t believe you can move things without touching them Gee!”
Said Frank excitedly
Gerard laughed gently, “well, maybe you’ll get something like it when you’ve been turned and you get your 19th birthday.”
Franks eyes lit up excitedly. He’d forgotten that Gerard was going to change him after the baby had been born. They got into the house and set all the things down in the lounge before making their way upstairs. Frank was exhausted by the time they’d got into bed but he was still excited about Gerards new power,
“Move that Gee!”
“No!”
“Pleeeease!”
“Frank, shut up and go to sleep!” Laughed Gerard, hugging his boyfriend close. As annoying as it was, Franks childishness was one of the things he loved about him. When the baby was born it was going to be like having two kids in the house. He didn’t think Frank was going to be very good at rules and things. That would probably get left to Gerard. He smiled to himself and looked down at the now sleeping Frank. The next week was going to be the biggest so far with the baby being born and Frank being changed. That was going to be difficult too. Having a new vampire and a newborn baby to take care of. But he had his friends to help him. He lay back down and wrapped his arms around Frank properly, feeling the baby kick softly as he fell asleep.
