No Lies, Just Love by Bright Eyes is the song that's come closest to making me cry. Might be triggering though (for suicide).

Some other songs that might work:
Feb. 15 by Bright Eyes
Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls
Black Balloon by the Goo Goo Dolls
My Skin--Natalie Merchant
Run--Snow Patrol
November--Azure Ray

Really though, just put some of Bright Eyes old stuff on and listen. I love Bright Eyes to death, but the music can be a bit sad / depressing at times. His new stuff isn't really though.

Thank you for all of your help and support. I will no longer be coming to RYL. Semi-explanation will be inside my profile.

I'm not usually into gratuitous sadness but I understand the predicament- so - here is Steve Earle and Emmy Lou Harris. It's a guys song mostly - and US country on BBC - rare animal lol

for some reason, Bobby Mcferrin-Don't Worry, Be Happy.

usually this song makes me happy, but sometimes when i listen to it i just cry and cry. it always evokes some sort of strong emotion in me, i don't know why, maybe because it's just such a simple song.

Life is just a series of moments.

I always well up to the Pan's Labyrinth soundtrack, that film is DEVASTATING!
