Yes, more than anything else right now, my husband wants kids too (good job really!) but we are waiting until we have brought our own house (we are renting at the moment) before we do, we have plenty of time, Im 22 and he is 25 so we are still quite young :) I have a very old fashioned view of marriage then kids, I'm married now so kids are the next logical step.
kinda sorta maybe? I dont know? I love kids, and they seem to love me but I don't know how Id go full time with kids, I mean it is basically an 18 -20 year commitment
A little bit possessive, little miss obsessive, can’t get over it....

My partner already has a daughter, so i don't think he's especially keen too have any more. I'd like a child one day, but deffinitly not now. I'm like alot of women in the sense when i pick up a baby, i melt. I couldn't actually pick up a baby until i was nearly 20. I was so frightened of hurting it or dropping it. Then when somebody said dont be so daft and i held somebodys little boy, i knew it was what i wanted one day. Just now, i know i couldn't cope with it. I have too think of my own well being before i bring a child into the world i couldn't love. If i have a child, i want to know it's 100% the right thing to do at the right time. Now isn't it.
I know that if it happened by accident though i would keep it. Though not likely as we use all the protection under the sun too ensure it doesnt!

No, I know I'd be a useless mother. I've learnt how not to do it from my mum but that doesn't mean I'd get it right! Besides my maternal instinct died a few years ago.
If this is all a dream and you're not quite what you seem then I'll sleep in vain
I definitely want kids. I have hardcore maternal instincts going on and always have. Whenever there are kids around, I want to protect them (not in the creepy Holden Caulfield kinda way, more of a don't-fall-and-smash-your-head-on-the-floor kinda way) and I want to teach them things and learn about their personalities. I would probably go nuts if I never had children. Maybe I could just have a lot of cats.
I don't think you should ever have kids when you aren't sure you're ready in hopes that they will make you happy or give you some sort of reason to live or something. That's not a child's responsibility. I know so many people who want children because they want something to love them and to make them feel fulfilled or whatever, but I don't think that's the right reason. I think the right reason involves knowing that you're prepared to do everything within your power to raise a kickass human being. And that involves stability and healthy selflessness and a whole lot of things I don't have, but eventuallyyy.
well, i have sown untidy furrows 'cross my soul,
but I am still a coward,
content to see my garden grow so sweet & full
of someone else's flowers.
I'm still not sure [i'm only 22] but at the moment I would be inclined to say no. Things are nowhere near settled enough with where I'm living etc. but perhaps in the future..

I would absolutely love to have kids. My friend's kids are what have brought me through the last 4 or 5 years. Without them, I'm not entirely sure I would be here.
For me, kids are my inspiration, my saviour. They make me feel my life is worthwhile, and for someone to make that happen, they are truly amazing.
