Hey guys ...

Just wanted to let you know that I heard from Harley the other day, and he told me that he's really not doing that well at all and has had to take some time off from RYL to get himself back into a good head-space.

I'm really sorry that you have all been kept waiting for these shop orders ..... but if I do know one thing, its that people WILL get their bracelets ..... but it just may be a bit of a wait, and on behalf of Harley, he is very sorry about that.

Apart from that, there isnt anything else we can do about this except wait for Harley to sort things out in his own personal life, until he is ready to face things at RYL again ..... so I understand the frustration - believe me I do! you arent the only ones waiting on Harley for some things to get sorted - but on behalf of Harley, I'm just asking if you could all cut him some slack here please.

thank you.

Thanks for letting us know... I think people just wanted a legitimate reason as to why there were troubles with the bracelets. Obviously it's not some crazy scamming thing and I think most of us here can appreciate that sometimes other problems come in the way of us being able to do what we'd like to do. I don't mind waiting, after all, Harley does a great job... without him none of us would be on this site in the first place :)

Hope he's feeling better soon, take care Harley

xx

I received an explanatory email from Harley yesterday, and my bracelet (and free gift!) arrived today. Thank you Harley, I hope you are coping ok, and that things start to improve for you.
Best wishes and kindest regards,
Suzanne xx

Ive been waiting nearly 3 months for mine and really i would just maybe rather have a refund than wait for something that may never arrive.

Well if people are receiving them then it's probably on it's way.

If you want Harley to give you the money back I would contact him soon and directly as there is always a struggle to have enough money to keep RYL alive, so get in contact quick before he spends it... even in his mind.

Bracelets are definatly being sent out now.
However, I have a few that Harley doesn't have, and he has to wait for me to post them back to him, which will be tomorrow. So he will have them by Thursday, so I can't see him sending them out any later than Saturday.

I'm really sorry, as this is completely my fault, as I didn't realise he needed them back :|

I think asking for a refund would take just as long as i have been waiting, so i may as well wait for the braclet.

Whatever you deem suitable for you...it seems that RYL will struggle to please you either way on this matter.

tbh im sick of being passed judgment because im annoyed with waiting so long, and if harleys not around then there would be more waiting time to get a refund.

Please can people just give Harley a break? The poor guy does so much for us as it is. If it wasn't for him giving up his free time (and money cos RYL doesn't run itself) then we wouldn't even have the site!! We all have plenty of bad days - surely Harley's allowed a few once in a while. He's been through a lot just recently and prehaps we should all show him a bit of support for once rather than just complaining.

I know people aren't happy about having to wait, but please just stop being so bloody selfish and have some patience!

well done. I agree. And thanks for posting. I haven't ordered a bracelet, but I've been on the thread a few times and I think poor Harley needs a bit of time to himself once in a while, as we all do. He's human just like the rest of us.
Well done Jelly fairy for saying what you did.

i totally agree that we need to go easy on Harley and everyone wants things to get better for him and have as little stress as possible *nods*. and i think the Mods and everyone are doing a really good job at helping and dealing with the situation.

but i also think Bleeding Angel has a right to express annoyance about the lack of bracelets that she's paid for (this is not me passing judgement on Harley, or any of the RYL team at all) i just think if i'd paid for something and it hadn't arrived for a while, and i was really looking forward to it, i might be getting a bit anxious/cross too.

I think people are passing judgement mainly with the way you have chosen to express your opinion on the matter. While I'm in the same boat as you with waiting a long time for my bracelet, I don't exactly agree with how rude and snappy you have been to people who are only doing what they can.

It isn't great we've had to wait so long but I know that Harley would not do this to his members without a damn good reason, and he's clearly got one. He needs a time out and a break to sort out whatever it is he has to. And while I, as the rest of us, would have greatly appreciated a word from Harley himself about it, just as reassurance (Spending money on something obviously makes us a little more anxious), clearly that wasn't possible. I'm sure if it was, he would have. Typsee is as high as we could probably go without Harley and she has replied, saying pretty much the same as Aidey and Chloe but her response does hold more weight given her position on the site.
It is hardly ideal that the webmaster has had to leave for a while, but Harley isn't perfect, he isn't a robot, he's human and he has a life away from this website. He will be back, hopefully feeling better.

I still stand by what I said in my last couple of replies, I'm sure most people waiting on their things will agree with me, whether they would want to say so or not, but I do want to see Harley well and ofcourse I understand he needs a break, I am shocked there are people on this particular website who do not.

And I'm sorry if anything after the first paragraph sounded snappy or rude, I really don't want it to be!

It is easy enough to express how annoyed you are without being rude and disrespectful.

Bleeding Angel, I have already stated that if you haven't received a bracelet by now, it's my fault, not Harley's. & I'm sorry you've had to wait so long, I really am, I didn't realise I had the bracelets he needed.

However, Harley received them all today, so they should be in the post by tomorrow at the latest, so it won't be long now.

Once again, I'm really sorry.
