Me and my girlfriend aren't bothering with it. If you can't tell the person you're worth that you love them everyday, then what's the point.
Besides, it's our 2 year anniversery the day after. Way more important.
I think it's stupid that there's one day a year designated to show people you love them. You should be doing that year round and it's far more meaningful to do cute/romantic things randomly than on just one specific day.
Hmm, Tomorrow, Watching Sweeny Todd, probably getting something pierced (Y) and then getting W*nkered at Cat's house.
Because my boy is a loser and lives up North.
And climb high to the highest rung, to shake fists at the sky.
I remember when i was at school they used to give out carnations and there would be girls with bunches of carnations (some had about 30) so actually i minded more then cause i think i only ever got one.
just a day. I plan to be asleep most of it :) xx
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.
My thread is getting nice and big...well bigger than my threads ussually get on other sites. I really like how active this forum is.
Someone mentioned how nice valentines day was for giving someone a flower and a note asking them out... Yeah that is a nice day to do it.... I left a rose and note asking a co worker out that was leaving this job about a week ago telling her to call me and she never did though...I'm still a bit blue over that. I knew her kinda well and had her over for board games a few nights and now I feel uncomfortable calling her to see if she still wants to be friends -_-.
i don't let valentines day get me down- my best friends (well, the 2 out of 3 that are currently single) and i are planning a "singles awareness day" party involving wine, chocolate, and watching across the universe.
and i look forward to hearing about the romantic adventures (or misadventures...) of my not so single friends to make up for my lack of love life.

I've always hated Valentines Day but seeing as i actually have someone i give a **** about and who i am completely in love with this year, it's all good.
Only bad thing is the fact we can't spend the day together but whatever.
No, because it's just any other day and because of that it's commercialised crap, so that said I actually feel better since I still have money in the bank. :D
No, I hate the day, but I don't feel lonely because of it. It makes me happy because I don't have to waste my money on a person I will probably hate in a years time, and who won't appreciate the gift.
Feel free to PM me any time; whether you want support or just a chat! x
