That's disgusting. Shame on them. Not a helpful service at all. Can I ask a, when were you there, and b, how come you were on an adult ward at 17? Sorry if those are nosey questions, you can PM me the answers if you want.

I was on an adult ward and still under the adolescent outpatient services, it was in November 2006, the thing is there was a new policy passed whereby all people aged 17 had to go into an adult hospital, I know thats what the policy said for Suffolk, but other CAMHS teams (adolescent teams) have different policies.

On a side note. I think all teams are trying to get rid of patients asap :(

and I was on Mistley ward btw I was there a week, I did all I could to get out.. after this...

They confiscated sharps off me,, then alloud me into the nurses office to get some of the other (safe) things they had taken off me.. but the sharps were on the side, I saw them, grabbed them and slit my wrist, it needed stitches. << Well that was a responsable thing to do, take something, then offer it back under my nose.

Worst still, all the nurses kept telling me I had got someone in trouble because of what I did... well frankly I wasnt thinking about implications of other stupid people when I did it! grr

I hate st. clements, I said to them when I left.. 'you have taught me some things,, such as never ask for help from here, cos all you get is critism and belittling.. so thankyou.'

I'm so appalled at that :( To be honest, I probably would have done the same, and no, you don't think about stuff like that. It really does suck there.

I was on Playford last September. We are on a hiding to nothing with stuff like that :(

yeah, playford is the one right next door, my friend was there till september this year, I think she was admitted in June or something, she has BPD and they sent her to a specialist unit in london for BPD, but she was on a section at the time so she had to be moved to another hospital.

xx

BSE is Bury St Edmunds. I told my mum about that Rowie, and how good it was, and the OP therapy and stuff and she was surprised it varies so much. We all know that hospital because that is where my brother is treated for his Crohns. It's a shame its not nearer, but it does offer good stuff from what you've said.

I didn't even need to OD. I just took a few tablets and it was enough to quieten everything down. Wow, I'd forgotten what this felt like. My arm still aches and kills, but I'm calm, and very tired now.

thanks for the replies.

I don't do hospital Rowie, I just suffer whatever happens, I don't see much point to hopsital.

Sorry, I know my last reply made no sense because I deleted the previuous one.

I was just moaning that it was taking over and I was losing control, and howq I had already damaged my arm and it was aching from shoulder to wrist from cutting whatever it was (tendon, nerve, muscle, i dont even know anymore).

I gave in and took some tabs though, but not an OD per se. I feel calmer though. I know that its likely tomorrow I'll have to take more than today but that's ok.

Thanks guys, sorry for being random and useless, I know that there is nothing you can do.

I took Mary's advice and called to see who I should send it to and the stupid ****ing bitch on the phone made me give my name. ****.

But aside from that I have to send it to the doc that I saw for the crappy assessment. Just ****ing great.

but at leats I can post it and know he won't care or do anything, and it can be on record so that when I kill myself my parents can sue them for negligence.

Thanks :) and thanks hammy and Katherine too.

I just told me mum I wrote the letter, so at least she knows, even if she hasn't seen it. I am fighting, I want to fight. Can't do much more after this though. I wonder if they will do anything.
