Okay so a lot has changed since i last posted, work having given me a few days peace from calls to work on my stress levels they致e even offered me to take a day off next week. So I知 going to do that.
I have also made lots of alterations to working arrangements, I知 now writing notes on scrap paper from the calls and started doing it with Lucy at work. I have also made some documents of useful information updated numbers etc. I plan to have them on my computer screen all times.
I have also ordered myself a stress ball from amazon coming tomorrow and made use of the elastic band tip on my wrist.
I have also started cutting down on my usage of stimulants and I知 speaking to my psych the following week about getting hold of tablets for concentration and focus.
The other great positives is that I知 drinking more herbal tea and I致e started drinking more water. The pills I take for my rib issue make me feel very thirsty. So I have purchased a water bottle.
I have started using Siri and dictation on my Mac computer work and and on all my devices are use regularly. There is making things a lot easier for me and for some I can concentrate a lot better and I知 also learning new shortcuts on the keyboard to save time and make my life easier.
I have also picked up useful tips from the girls in the office and they have given me new suggestions to increase my productivity. As I am a visual learner I I am using colour and highlighting important information that That I use and I am applying the same strategy for my studies.
Have also created a notebook on Evernote and I知 going to keep all my uni notes together in one place rather than use separate notebooks off-line As I know my writing. I have also started writing a daily to do list rather than A timetable for studying As I found with the timetable I would move studies around and put things off easily rather than focus on what I致e got gotta do. Just take me a long time of trial and error to work this out for myself and I知 glad that I知 sorting this problem out.

As for leisure activities I am sticking to YouTube and watching Netflix.

Have you ever confused a dream with life? Or stolen something when you have the cash? Have you ever been blue? Or thought your train moving while sitting still? Maybe I was just crazy. Maybe it was the 60's. Or maybe I was just a girl... interrupted.
I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside. I tried groups, didn't work out just made my depression a lot worse.

Okay so things are still rocky for me at the moment, work are really trying to help me at the moment but unfortunately they've put me on watching others for a while to see if I can learn from them. Stress levels have been 50/50 so it's relly give and take at the moment and I am absolutely knackered beyond knackered at the moment really struggling to think clearly t the moment. But things have gotta be done and I can't let a bit mental fatigue affect my life. so I am quite literally shoving coffee n tea down my throat like it's orange juice.
As I cannot under any circumstances have hours rest from activities as I would feel guilty and not good enough. And that person in mind, is saying oh it's only be mental fatigue it's not like you've done much in the previous years, just perk yourself with a cup of coffee, if i could fit enjoyment activities in my daily I would. but i do not have the time or the brain span for it.
i did watch limitless last night on netflix for few hours, but hours laster I was like "you should of been studying, that's not good enough" and it seems that any studying or work i do although it's okay not enough even though the small part of me is saying hang on girl you've worked all week twenty hours which were very shattering, you've had your mate on facetime with cancer and you've done hours of studying. you deserve a break girl. it's okay to breathe, eat, take twenty minutes off? But the other part of me " is practically dismissing it and saying "for gods sake you work in call centre and you're doing a degree that should of been done years ago. it's not like your saving lifes and it's not like you've done much. so I' back in my humanless robot mode now.

I know it is tempting to caffeinate yourself out of fatigue to but caffeine increases fatigue. The brain needs as much rest as any other organ in your body.
The best way of fighting mental fatigue is by listening to your body and giving yourself some compassion. The most effective way to study is to take lots of small break so 5 minutes every 20 minutes and 15 minutes every hour. I used to find doing some yoga or pilates would help to slow things down and help with mental fatigue. Or even some deep breathing in between tasks.

It doesn’t work for me 15-20 minutes just seems meaningless at times, once my concentration improves I can study for hours on end and accomplish loads in one hit whereas 15-20 minutes and I’ve barely sat down and would get up every few minutes. I don’t even take “breaks” apart when I have finished work and gone o to university study the 20 minutes travel and then four sufficiently is enough every day. It’s just how things are and the way are.
A break in my leads to “oh I’ll come back and do that later and next thing I have had hour of watching mindless telly and the time ticking. I have a tick tick sound on my iPad and huge timer so I can’t procrastinate and be failure/useless or worth zilch. But there’s rarely any kind of positive when I’m studying or working there’s no well done for getting that assignment done or reward. It’s crack on with the next unit.
Then finally at 23:00 my big reward of night is lots of zzz I wish there was enough hours in a week and then I could enjoyment activities in and perhaps some social life. But I simply do not have the physical hours in the day.
But at least the discord app is proving very successful for me for friends and I love avakin life that’s become my sanctuary I have learn to make it feel more homely add some music I’m the background or some awesome YouTube.
