Jenna - if that's the orange ones then yes *scowls*
It's only horrendously bad for about 2-3 days and then calms down for the last few days thank god.
I might genuinely have to get Jodie's app! I turn into evil psycho bitch the week or two before and always end up arguing with Graeme, then he refuses to retaliate and says I'm only grumpy coz of the time of month. Cue me angrily going "NO IT'S NOT, I am properly angry!!!!!....oh...wait.."
If you're talking about tampax, then I think orange is just super plus. Lil-ets and a lot of supermarket own brands have super plus extra which are much more hardcore. My personal recommendation is ASDA super plus extra :)
I used to be too scared to use a tampon, so it used to be pads. But now I'm on the pill, which makes my periods so light that both tampons and pads seem ridiculous. So, I just use a liner. Which is kind of like a pad, but not as bad- I hardly notice it's there at all.
I switch between using both, since being on contraception I only have light periods and using tampons can be uncomfortable, so I switch between tampons and pads.
Has anyone ever heard of vicarious menstruation? Basically bleeding from other areas at the same time as you have a period. I always have a nosebleed on the first day, I never have nosebleeds at any other time it's odd.
Oh wow never heard of that. I get super achey legs though, which is a right pain, they're soooo bad!
And can someone please tell me if a mooncup is worth it?! I thought you had to rinse them each time, but what if you're in a public bathroom, what do you do? And how many hours roughly is it between changes?
Did buy a mooncup but my body refused to let it stay in the right place and kind of 'sucked' it up every time I wore it - I'm sure I must have looked pretty comical trying to take it out, but it was mucho uncomfortable!!!

Don't quote me on this, but I believe in public toilets people just bring a wee thing of water or wet wipes then give it a proper clean when they get home. And I think they need to be changed less frequently than tampons.
A bit of both! Does anyone else really hate that time though? In the lead up to it I get a lower mood because I know it's coming, and I hatehate it for some reason, and it can't be over quick enough! I know noone likes them haha and it's probably PMS but it really gets to me?! Thank god for the pill, I used to dread them and to be honest I still do now.
Agree, pads are like nappies :| I still use them though!
Pads drive me insane and I'm considering to go on the Pill to stop my periods, but I don't know how to use tampons, so I have to use pads.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

the pill won't necessarily guarentee period free, depends which one i guess but there is never a guarentee but i guess you know that as you know your drugs.
using tampons is so not hard, honestly heres a guide
oh i never answered the question, tampons mostly as we dont have a shower so can't always have a proper wash in the mornings but when we had a shower id use pads at night

True. The Pill doesn't guarantee it at all, but there is a good chance.
I am too scared to use a tampon. I've never had sex and I know nothing about the anatomy of my vagina. Using a tampon sounds scary.

most girls havent had sex when they first start using tampons, it doesnt hurt and if you dont like it when u try it u dont have to use them,
the combined pill only stops periods if you continually take it, i.e no 7 day gap
I know, the combined pill does that. My periods aren't as heavy as they used to be as I take tranexamic acid during them now. So I might not go on the Pill.
I suppose I could use a tampon but I'd have little idea where the opening would be to put it in. It makes me feel queasy, the thought of it.
