50mg is the lowest dose I think and 750-800mg maximum. The drug is used for a number of different things so different doses are used differently. 800mg is for acute mania & bipolar (I think), lower doses are used for PTSD (like me) & mood stablisation. I think doses around 50-250mg are common to try someone on the drug and for helping with moods/impulses etc.. Oh and it's an anti psychotic so is used for psychosis duh.

Just found out on the bloody box it is actually XL so released form? I'm feeling some effects(took it a bit ago) so I'll probs try sleep soon, obv not gonna work instantly for my symptoms but struggling with urges and such right now to SH/OD.
Rhea, Thankyou so so much for your reply. You weren't cold whatsoever! You're perfectly right, I know that. I just... I don't really know, I don't put what I know is right and true into action, feels impossible.
I do feel hopeless. I just feel because I've had so many problems since young childhood, I'm always gonna be ****edup.
Sorry for being negative.
Thanks addict for your input also, if it helps then it's a good thing and quite lucky too as a lot of people have to go on so many diff meds to find the right one, not saying you may not have had to, but if it does help, then use that to your advantage. Discuss maybe dosage change if it's causing unpleasent side effects or if it's just general dislike ofbeing on meds, discuss that too and try to work through it. Not a bad thing to need meds, but they aren't the only option either.
Feel bit dopey now. >.>
Katie, thankyou for that information. Veruy useful to know too.
I'm not sure how much I'll have to go up to, he's just starting out wit this to see how it goes and well, I guess I will see how it goes!

You can recover hun, of course you can. You're very strong.
I prefer the none slow release ones as they are better for sleep but I know the slow release ones are better for more consistency throughout the day. You can ask to switch to the other ones?

I have appt with him next month(I thought it was 2 months not next month I'm terrible with memory atm) on 29th I think, or is it Nov... ****, I don't know, but it's either next month or month after, but I may see my CPN before then, I can tell them about it and may be able to change as I am on it for sleep as well, but is there really a difference? It does make me dopey at night and I do sleep a bit better, but does the slow release / non slow release have any difference in regards to bettering symptoms?
xx
I don't think I can recover, just, it's long story haha, you've enough on your plate love, I won't bombard you with it.
