Working in a bookshop would be good. My ideal is Karnac Books on Finchley Road, as they are a psychotherapy specialist bookshop.
Y'know, I used to go past them on the bus each week and wish I could get a job there!
Hmm... I'd like to work in academia, but I'm only just finishing my undergrad degree and there's no way I have the money for a masters or a Phd after this. Plus there aren't going to be any jobs by the time I get through the system.
Working in a bookstore sounds like a job I'd really enjoy.
I don't think I have a dream job apart from that - so long as I earn enough money to pay bills and have some time off to see my friends I think I'd be happy.
For those doubts that swirl all around us
For those lives that tear at the seams
We know… we’re not what we’ve seen
For this dance we’ll move with each other
There ain’t no other step than one foot
Right in front of the other
I would LOVE to be a teacher and housewife...just kind of share it lol.
I keep thinking that I would love a month at home, then a month at work, then a month at home etc etc etc. I can dream :)
Either a Forensic Scientist, specialising in DNA or Anthropology.
Or, I want to own a little vintage book and coffee shop, with quaint little furniture and little cakes and stuff.
"The things I remember best are the things I wasn't supposed to do but I did them anyway. Thing is, life's too short to be following these rules"
I'd love to be Florence from her and her Machine, or Tori Amos. To be singing in some kind of fantasy cross reality world.
But what I plan to do, and would LOVE, if I am good at it, is be an Art Therapist. Me and my friend (who wants to be an Agricultural Therapist) have talked about opening our own centre. I plan to do a degree in Occupational Therapy first, but maybe I will go straight into Art Therapy, who knows. I fundamentally believe it's never too late for many things. I'll probably be 28/29 before I even start my degree. I knew I guy in his 60s who was an Art Therapy student.
Me and my mum have talked about opening an ethnic shop, in a sort-of co-operative with some of her friends and a friend of mine. It would be called the 'Happy Hippy Shoppy' and have a tearoom and we could sell our artwork.
For me I just want to be a writer. I just want to sit down and write novels every day.
Shame I have to worry about money and stuff and need to get jobs to support myself.
My dream is life is to get published and, with luck, make enough money from my writing to write full time.
I first wanted to become an arachnologist or myriapodologist . That is an individual who studies arachnids or and individual who studies myriapods.
I've wanted to teach geography.
But, as of now, my dream job I think would be working in a developing country helping people less fortunate than myself. Maybe work for an NGO in Africa or Asia.
Check Animal Welfare in Asia, or China. It might be a start

I'd like to work with adults with learning disabilities in a creative environment, using art and music therapeutically and educationally.
:]
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
All the adversity I've had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me... You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.

ofcourse! I'm very upset with the current CEO all of my friends are tired of hearing it plus the best way for Disney to be run is with two people a creative CEO and a logical President but people get power hungry oh well
