When I was really little I wanted to be a teacher because I really like school.
Then for the longest while I wanted to be a meteorologist. I would spend all day watching the weather channel.
I then wanted to be an astrophysicist because I liked star gazing but then I did physics A level and realised I couldn't do the boring side of physics anymore.
I wanted to be an oceanographer...went to uni and did 2 1/2 years but then had my breakdown and had to leave.
Now I'm training to be a cardiac physiologist...I want to be an electrophysiologist one day...
i wanted to be a tree when i was 3. then my cousin said i couldnt be a tree. so i decided i'd be a model. thats when i thought that a model was a manequin in a shop window ...
when i was about 11 i decided i wanted to be an olympic gymnast. so i joined a club and got as far as the commonwealth games, then retired at 15!
so i decided to be a nursery nurse. started the course, then left to get a job to pay for my wedding. 2 weeks before i qualified.
marriage and kids and periods of mental ill health got in the way, and i work nights in a supermarket stacking shelves, and have a second job in a chinese take away. but i think i know what i want to do now. i'd like to be a midwife. or a SCB nurse. no doubt i'll quit within touching distance of my goal, as usual lol
I wanted to be a librarian, but other than that I dont know. Still dont, and the only thing I have managed to stick at, is my voluntary job at the Cats Protection (stuck that longer than any paid job!).

I wanted to be a nurse like my friend. Then later a vet.
When it came to 'options' time, I wanted to be a Nursery Nurse. But they told me I was 'too intelligent, and should do A Levels and become a teacher.' :/ We know what happened when I tried that...
Apparently I also wanted to work in a library, when I was very young. I have no memory of that! Though it did get fulfilled...
I didn't want to be in the red arrows, I wanted to BE ONE!!!! Still do.......

Tifflehan. My mate as flown with them. Fantastic experience. My step brother flew in a Jaguar when he was in the RAF too, said it was amazing. Maybe one day I'll get a ride in one.
I wanted to be so many things...
First I wanted to be a mad scientist (the mad part was very important, I didn't wanna be just a regular scientist but one stroked by madness in a brilliant way...I wanted to be somewhat like the Tesla of science and I pursued this for years.)
Then I wanted to be a spy (mostly inspired by Sherlock Holmes and the movie Harriet The Spy).
Then...I wanted to be a writer, because I figured if I was already writing in a journal daily writing would come easy and I loved books...so.
After that I wanted to be a comedian or actress...I actually acted as a child in plays and a couple of commercials and I performed at parties, had my own comedy routine. That's when I wanted to be basically like Buster Keaton or Cantinflas, both of whom I impersonated.
Then I matured a little around 12/13 and decided I wanted to be a veterinarian. I always loved animals and me and my best friend were basically constantly rescuing stray animals and took care of some sick ones, and even cured some cats and dogs so it made a lot of sense to do that...but reality crushed that, seeing how expensive those studies are. I also considered being a pediatric surgeon at around that same age...
And now I'm an 'aspiring' psychologist. Whatever that means in relation to my life and wherever that may take me...it does make sense because I've been studying and reading about psychology since I was a kid, on my own, so it also came very naturally to me to study this.
Life *sigh*
Now I wanna be nothing.
"...that incremental suicide of turning your life into a dream, to make being awake as similar to sleep as possible. Drowsily, lazily, dry-mouth your way through the day's ceremonies, fumble your way back into the dew-bather you never really left, draped in brown, brown now all around, the haze!" - Russell Brand on drug addiction.
"Si ma êkh gûndo piyiamásko...ándo bírto barruno. Bírto, bírto barruno."
I wanted to be a doctor but never really got the grades at school so now i've apllied to do childrens nursing!
" my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trials and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you" you were carried out of are lifes into the next and when its my time to leave this life I know i will be carried into the next life with you.
I wish i had my world complete again.

There is a few things I wanted to do, like being a vet because I liked animals or be a doctor.
“Never lose faith in yourself,
and never lose hope;
remember, even when this world throws its worst and then turns its back,
there is still always hope.”
when i was really young i wanted to be a fairy with magical power to fly and sneak out and night and meet up with friend on the rrooftop

she's falling from grace , she's all over the place..............
I wanted to be a sportswriter. Then a psychologist. I was heavily into sports right through university and was a counsellor for 10 years, so that's OK too. :)
My boyfriend wanted to be a priest because he thought they only worked on sundays.
I wanted to be a lawyer or a doctor. My friends all wanted to be hairdressers and animal people and beauticians.
hahaha your boyfriend aim is so funny specially the reason behind it well i always wanted to be air hostess but i got air sickness i never tried still i luv that job free travel ling all over the world
I wanted to work at a checkout in a shop so i could 'bleep' all the things (scan the barcode). I also wanted to work in a post office so i could be in charge of the stamps and i wanted to be a lollipop lady
When I was asked as a small child, I always said
"I just want to be normal" - ie. a stay-at-home mum, cos that's what my Mum did so I assumed that was 'normal'.
I got quite annoyed when they made me think of something else.
So I decided I wanted to be a nurse.
A year ago I had my place at university to study nursing withdrawn, due to a criminal record gained when ill.
I cannot hold down a job for longer than a few weeks.
Now I really do just want to be normal.
"I have a room for life at the home for the chronically groovy!" - Sgt Floyd Pepper
I wanted to be an author because I read so much and thats a good place to start right? Then I wanted to be a lawyer because I was good at arguing with my sisters. Now I'm in my second year of studying nursing which I absolutely love. Although I never wanted to be a nurse when I was little because the thought of combining maths and science everyday into my work life horrified me.
I went through a lot of "wants"...the ones I remember are astronaut, teacher, ballet dancer (i took ballet as a kid), teacher, actor, writer, professional musician, and now youth pastor. Currently I'm just a college student.
I would still LOVE to be in movies, and I'm actually (slowly, I'm very busy) working on a book. The good thing about being an author is you can work on a book no matter what job you have.
Every day the world is made a chance to change but i feel the same.
And I wonder why would i wait till i die to come alive?"
