If only you'd ever speak to me
the way you once did
look at me the way you once did
pull to me the way you once did
but you don't
you don't feel anymore
you don't care anymore
it's all gone
it's all gone
I think it's a bloody brilliant idea. I emailed her, but like everyone else, I didn't give that much info .. well actually I didn't give any. I just asked for abit more info before I go spilling the beans && my nan && grandad have just gone digital (I know I was shocked too lol!) && they tend to watch bbc3 alot. They don't know I self harm but I think they should really. :S

I rung & left my details & also e-mailed so hope to har something soon as really would like to be involved, I'd even be filmed as everyone knows about my SH, I'm not afraid to speak my mind ! bounces up & down excitedly , & rolls around like an excited child !
But i do hope everyone does take into consideration what it means to be filmed, that people would find out, and also i think if you were under 16 you might need your parents permission to do something like this.
"Its not how long a star shines, what is remembered is the brightness of the light"
I have emailed her in a noncommital way. I think the idea of it is very good but there is a lot I am a little unsure about. For example whether it would be 24/7 filming, if it is just for those currently self harming (I am semi recovered), whether she would want to speak to friends/family etc or include them directly. I am 19 so parents permission is not really required.
I don't know but it said we are under no obligation so hey!
Here's a link to the channel 4 documentary done a few years ago featuring RYLers. It was intended for kids aged 14-19 and was on 4-learning but I imagine the BBC documentary will be a bit more grown up and controversial, just cos that's BBC 3's thang. I hope this isn't illegal or anything
I saw this on TV about a year ago and that's how I found RYL so it has a special place in my heart. When I was watching it I remember thinking "I wish I could be in something like this". Now maybe I can.

Reason: dumb typo!
I would quite like to e-mail in, but I don't want my mum finding out and I don't know 'cause I'm recovering and all...
Ah, if someone says she's cool and doesn't mind a recovering person helping out (I wouldn't want to be in it, lord no) then maybe.
I would be interested in this however living and being in Dubai isnt a great location for a british documentary! However I am willing to give info if needed

I would offer to take part and show that it's not all about girls but seeing I don't think I was ever truly an SIer in that it never became an addictive thing that I ever "needed" to do, I just did it as I wanted to and also that I haven't hurt myself for about 18 months now, I doubt it would be very interesting. Filming me 24/7 doing menial tasks and spending much of my life in my bedroom or at work (or maybe uni depending on when they start filming) is probably not what they are looking for and could result in the most boring segment of television of all time.
It sounds like a really good idea, i emailed her yestaday and she hasnt replied yet but i think it will be really good! i am looking forward to her reply!

yeahi do agree i oulnt be very ineresting filming, all i ever do is sit in my room or go to the park or do boring crap at school. I dont ever do anything that interesting! lol
The only thing i am worried about is who is going to see the doccumentry...
I wouldnt be too keen on school mates seeing it! but i guess its not really a BIG deal!
