They're still at it where I work now, but not quite so abrupt, and I usually ask them what they want. Like, put it in words. With please would be nice.

I get people like that alot. Today I had a guy come in who said "map" I told him we didn't sell maps, so he said "where" so I told him he might get one from the tourist information centre and told him where that was he then said "what about post office" so I directed him to the post office, he looked at me for a bit then said "Yes I know where the post office is, is it open?" how was I supposed to know he meant that!

I work in a card shop and often get people coming in who say "I want a card" like they expect me to know what type of card they want.

also with the alcohol thing, it wouldnt matter if they could prove they were with their parents, it's still illegal for their parents to buy the alcohol.

This kid infront of me today in Tesco's, was trying to buy alcohol, and it was clear he wasn't 21 or whatever, so the lady who was serving him asked for ID, he said he didn't have one, so she said she couldn't serve him. He had a right old go at her, shouting and swearing, so I poked him on the shoulder, and said, 'Look, she's not going to serve you, go put it back, stop being such a retard, and go home.'

He looked at me like I was an ogre or something, hurled a load of abuse at me, and walked off. The serving lady gave me a hug and said thank you.

....So, yes, I Don't even work there. *grins*

Shops suck.

I hated thoese people who where in a rush and want to by-pass the que. One women was like in a rush, juped to my till and said

her:"can i jus leave the money for this?"
me: "erm no i have to put it throught the till"
her:" well do it now"
Me:"erm no theres a que, you have to wait like everyone else"
Her:"FFS...*lots of swearing and huffing*"

She gets to my till throws the money at me and storms off. FFS if you buy something in a shop you have to wait in a que, no one gets specail treatment.

Ugh then theres the people who INSIST on opening things up in the shop, its like umm sorry you cant do that.
