no excuse. properly cared for denim can last a lifetime.
I know my dad has a pair of jeans in the back of the wardrobe that are at least twenty years old.
And I knew someone once, she had a third generation denim jacket. her mother owned it in the 80's, her sister had it through most of the 90's and she's had it since 1999. and as far as I know she still wears it.
