You might not have smooth scrolling on Gabz. Um, I can't remember how to do it but I think it's on options somewhere.

Tools > Options > Advanced > General > In the Browsing Options Select Use Smooth Scrolling.

How do I get the emoticons?

Tools> Add-on's. When the little Widnow Opens up Select Browse All Add Ons.

Search for Smiley Xtra5. Download that.

Instructions on how to make it work will be posted in a second. They need tweeking to work on this forum.

The way I got it to work was this method:

You want to open the Smiley xtra.
Then click on the smiley face in the right corner, that's the options menu.
There you wan to click options.
There you want to change insertion method to: Copy to Clipboard.
and then change Default Format to: Image URL.
after that when you select a smiley you right click the image and select Insert Smiley.
Then you click and right click and select Paste.
And That's That.

took some working out before I figured it.

Also little tip to make it more convenient:
Go to View
Go to Toolbars
Select Customise
In the field that opens up you should see the Smiley Xtra5 face. Drag and drop this onto the task bar (thats the large section up top where the front, back, homepage etc. buttons are.)
Click Done

This allows you to have a shortcut that opens it quick and easy all the time.
