Hey guys. I had a good day :)
And my mum's cousin was there as well, he's from Scotland (now lives in Germany) and I haven't seen him in at least 10 years so that was nice.
He was down to play the bagpipes for burns night.

I have seen Coraline. It's a very creepy film!!

Yes he was practising pretty much the whole time! Apparently the bagpipes don't play as well when it's cold so he was trying them out outside. I didn't realise quite how loud bagpipes are!!

There's often a man in the city centre playing bagpipes. I think the tourists like it. The shops he's outside of are probably not so keen.

The shops here were really promoting haggis for it. As soon as you walked in it was everywhere. I only like the vegetarian stuff.

All I know about Scottish food is haggis and 'neeps and tatties'
We actually say neeps and tatties quite a lot in our family! We just like the way they sound :p

I've always known neeps to be turnips. But I just had a quick Google and apparently there's some debate about whether neeps are turnips or swedes!
