Recently:
- call with some favourite people

Not intruding at all! The more the merrier :)
Yesterday:
- napping
- chocolate fudge sauce
- zoom with some heroes
- K getting home
- not having to clean Finn’s oven
- reading the absolutely glorious responses to the great ‘Who Is V?’ mystery. Btw I did not intend to actually get people to guess- I was trying to say that you genuinely wouldn’t know who it was and not to bother, but I guess some people can’t resist a challenge…

^ I mean, offering a 'genuine prize' does tend to incentivise people

Great stuff! May I ask what book? That sounds like an idyllic place to read :)

Chatting with my cousins - we've all grown up and csn now be ourselves around each other.

It's a beautiful place to read, love where I live. The book is called A Song for a new day. It's dystopian/post-apocolyptic (I know) but it's heavily about music. So far it just feels like a book about a touring band in a slightly futuristic world. That's a good thing though. I've also recently read two books by Matt Haig (the midnight library and how to stop time).
Doing yesterday's things here
- Stayed at my family gathering until late and really enjoyed seeing everyone
- Watched Stranger Things WITHOUT BEING ON MY PHONE THE WHOLE TIME GO ME
|

It goes to show, that no matter how bad things get for me, there is still always one thing which brings me happiness. I must cling to this for it is the making of me, the beginning of my resurgance and the fightback epitomised. I will defeat my demons.
An ode to joy
A road to love
A note to keep your head above
The rising tide's not yet a flood on this shore

I strongly considered sending you a JPEG of my naked feet today. So at least we'd be the same level of inappropriate if at all??

Mine isn’t all that feel good however it is positive because it amounts to self-care:
- finally got covid and feeling mega poop. However have been eating good food and drinking lots of water
- managed to sleep in the heat today
- phoned my dad this evening to cheer me up because I was anxious about isolating alone
- watched a lot of friends
|
Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world. All things can be mended. Not with time, as they say, but with intention. So go. Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally. The broken world awaits in darkness for the light that is you.
