The point of the wedding was to look into the future and see what will happen in a few months time, with little twists and hints of storys yet to be explained. However im not sure if that actully is what happens, if ricky whittle is leaving or not, but its meant to just be he had an affair and got back with carmel and they got married again, and then he died.

but it was well confusing
