I'm Mary. I love singing and burst into parts of songs throughout the day when a phrase reminds me of a song. I randomly dance when no one is around, normally only a few moves, but sometimes for hours. I love writing witty and funny comments on photos that are online and seeing how others respond.

Hi! I'm Amy! I figured I'd finally introduce myself as I've posted a few times on this board.
I'm 20 and in university. I like pretty dresses and polka dots (sometimes combined!) and the color purple. I also like to watch baseball and used to triple jump for track before I messed up my knee.
I also like to read a lot and am a huuuuuge fan of Harry Potter

I like maths once I get it! I'm studying a really random foundation degree but it's an FdSc and there's loads of science in it. I'm not that good at it but I do love it :)

I adore art and music - I just received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in December, and I grew up playing piano...I love to read (I'm a huge nerd), and my favorite topics include: psychology, memoirs, history of medicine/medical illustration, art history/theory, body modification, etc. I personally prefer to play classical music (Debussy, Chopin, Bach, etc.), but I listen to a lot of metal: death, grindcore, sludge, experimental, as well as industrial. As of late, I've been listening to a lot of Boris, Sunn O))), Godflesh, Earth, and Jesu.
If I could go back to school for anything else, it'd be: Music performance (piano), psychology/art therapy, and art history. Someday, when I have the funds...

that fantasy of what your life would be: white dress; prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill.
You closed your eyes and had complete and utter faith.
Eventually you grow up. One day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears.
But the thing is, it's hard to let go of that fairytale entirely because almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith,

Have been a member for a while but mostly just write in the ranting thread.
Was diagnosed with an ED just a few days ago.
I was both happy and sad, cos now that I know why I'm so weird when it comes to food I can try and work through this mess.
