Never been raped myself, but I can definatly relate to having trouble saying it.

'Abuse', in all it's forms is difficult too. Never been abused either.

The only thing I can suggest is having an intense imagination...There's logic in there...somewhere...

Ye I can totally relate. I cant say it and I have trouble writing it. Same with a lot of the words mention in this thread too!

Plus, I cant hear the words either. Makes me feel sick n dirty! :(

I can't say it outloud or type it if talking in relation to myself. I'm fine if I'm talk to or about anyone else. It's not really an issue regarding whether or not it happened, I just can't seem to say it, type it or think it.

I had to type that word the other day because I had to do a timeline for a novel I read for my Eng course, and just typing it made me feel so dirty and ashamed. It seems ridiculous. I mean, it's only a word like any other, but it's linked to so many stoong emotions. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I CAN say it and act normal enough for no one to suspect anything, but using it feels so repulsive.
