I went to Scarborough for half a day. It was about as much of it as I could take. But enjoy yourself!
Reading fest is about all I can afford right now. I'd love to, and we're looking into going to to Amsterdam for a few days. City breaks ftw. We'll probably go to London for a few days too, but that's hardly a holiday as such, because it's like 40 minutes by train.
Some of my friends were talking about going somewhere really hot, but they planned to go on some awful package deal, where the bus picks you up in droves from the airport and everything is planned for you... So I decided not to!
And the things they were talking about were really rubbish, too. I like going and looking around, exploring the local area, and not just eating in English restaurants with English people.
It was so lame.
I can't wait to go away this year, i've not been away for two years due to medical stuff so im making up for it this year =D
Going cancun with the bofriend for two weeks
Going Kavos (oh dear ha) with the friends for a week
And then going Cape town with the the close family and boyf for two weeks =)
okay, major geek alert, but, I'm an archaeology student and last year I camped for 10days near a (fairly) local community excavtion that didn't charge you to volunteer. I'm going for the full three weeks this summer (hopefully) but I might not camp, I might just catch the train!
It does feel slightly strange that I take my holiday from a paid (part-time) job to go and do volunteer work elsewhere.
Can Not Wait.
Archaeology is my passion-and it's a mediaeval manor house we're excavating and mediaeval is my favouriite period!!!!!!!

Not going away at Easter for the first time in 12 years..... All my mum's idea to make me revise more :(
But this summer I'm going to Portugal with loads of friends for a week as an end of exams thing, and Spain for a week to the Benicassim festival!
Then me and another friend have a crazy plan to train around Europe for a fortnight, go to Belarus and Ukraine and other places that we'll never really get the chance to see again!

I haven't been on holiday since 07 when I went away to plymouth, the holiday was great, coming home was the bad part.
My life had turned to crap while I was away.
Don't know when I'll next be going on holiday. I'm spending my holiday fund on going back to school (if I'm able) in Sept.
But I gotta say I am looking forward to seeing my friends holiday snaps.
