I am not a vet but I hope it's ok to pop my head round and mention the MDF/Bipolar Organisation. They run support groups for sufferers and carers of all ages all around the country. I have been to a womens group and the atmosphere has been very supportive and friendly. It is something to consider, though not for everyone, could be helpful. They also run self management courses but I haven't been on one so far.

Chelsea, I have seen you around many times and see you as a very strong, kind and funny young woman.

Take care. Miranda. x

The Mole was bewitched, entranced, fascinated. By the side of the river he trotted as one trots, when very small, by the side of a man who holds one spell-bound by exciting stories; and when tired at last, he sat on the bank, while the river still chattered on to him, a babbling procession of the best stories in the world, sent from the heart of the earth to be told at last to the insatiable sea.
Wind in the Willows.
