ALTERNATE REALITY IS LEAVING?

I am back home. I was transferred to the open ward and discharged today.

My meds have been increased to 25mg olanzapine and I'm suffering clonazepam withdrawal.

I have lost 2kg in weight. I always loose weight in hospital which is odd as most people put on weight in hospital.

I'm still being attacked by voices, hallucinations and thought disorders. Hopefully the 25mg olanzapine will help.

I'm afraid I can't say much more as all I want to do is sleep. I feel depressed because I became a bit institutionalised.

I'm going to Cambridge on the 8th.

Be back later.

Thanks for the all the support.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

Good to see that you're home.

crikey moses, 25mg? i really hope it helps.

when i had been in hospital for a long time, it really helped me to focus on the things that i was really going to enjoy outside of the ward than inside. inside, i couldn't have a bath when i wanted/for as long as i wanted, i couldn't go out when i wanted (sometimes), i couldn't really eat what/when i wanted, watch what i wanted on TV, listen to my music loud, go shopping, go for a walk, go on the train, go to college, paint, have frothy hot chocolate in the pub, see people i liked, go to bed when i liked, for as long as i liked... the list goes on. it helped me not be institutionalised because i was so grateful for the newfound freedom!

fingers crossed for you, Olympia xxx

I am so glad to be back at home but I am not much better. I was only discharged because I have to go to uni.

In fact, I almost think I should still be in hospital.

The voices want me to kill.

I have lost every shred of motivation I've ever had and I just want to throw my life away.

I'm not clever any more. Schizophrenia has removed my cleverness.

Oh dear =[

If you start to feel unsafe will you tell people and consider going back into hospital?

Thanks for letting us know Olympia.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.

I'm thinking of you.

Do you have your support network in place at Cambridge set up?

If you feel like things will get to a crisis point again, would you be able speak to the crisis team/go into A&E before it got too difficult to control? I really hope you can keep yourself safe and take care of yourself sweetie.
How have you been feeling today? Maybe if you get the phone number for the crisis team based in Cambridge so that when you arrive you have support available immediately if you need it?
I hope you get to Cambridge safely, and I hope you're feeling better and are able to enjoy freshers week :D
All the best, xxxx
