The preference to natural vs c-section, is that alot of women want to be ones bringing bubs into the world, rather than a surgeon.

my ex used to get something a bit like that around the time of my monthlys. i think he probably just wanted an excuse to snap back at me and eat junk food.

I quite want a natural birth but can't pretend I know much about it at the moment. Frightened of tearing and pooing and weeing on myself but I suppose that's just what happens. I wouldn't imagine it would be any more embarrassing than the whole naked lady-parts thing, they've seen it all a million times before.
Quite like the idea of a birthing pool, though.

But I can tell you've been through hell...

So far from perfect, onward we will strive. Take it for what it's worth, this truth that you've realized. You're not who you thought you were, it's time to see the other side of what you have become.

A natural birth, really isn't that bad, at least, it wasn't for me.
4hour labour, just gas and air, just a graze, no poop.
I know i was extremely lucky and there are people who are in absolute agony etc, but, i'd much rather have a natural birth, then not.
and at the end of it, what're happens to your body, however you give birth, it really doesn't matter when you've got your baby.

It's so easy to get lost in constantly having to present
whatever face you believe a person wants to see rather than your own

My friend's sister talked to us about it when we were about 15...she told us how beautiful and natural it was and that it was the best experience and she kinda described stuff too...

You're lucky. =(
To be honest, i'm not big on the whole wanting kids idea. But if i did i think i'd prefer a natural birth. Even through all the bad/embarassing points mentioned in this thread.
No idea why. I just would.
