boiling water and a bowl of caramel at the end of oyur drive, draws them away from the house, then they get stuck in it :p
oh and ant powder.... and fly traps...
take4 your empty alcopop bottles (need to have a long thin neck) fill halfway up the widest part with water, then using a spoon/fork handle, smear jam at the bottom of the neck.
the flies go down the neck into the jam, then fly straight into the water and never get out. me and my bro's had a competition who's trap would weigh the most after the 2 week holiday (we weighed them all first). mine won, but then i was clever... put mine in the shade and kept putting jam in, their water started to evaporate, mine didnt.
