Thanks - you are all amazing. I am now in the open ward. The staff here are very cold and don't care about the patients - not like the secure unit where I got hugged, kissed and prayed for by nurses! I am hoping to be out by Monday. I think I will spend the weekend listening to music, doing maths and reading. I will be able to use the internet on a computer tomorrow. Things are looking up now.
PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.
I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.
Sect 136 consisted mostly of being held down by 4 police while screaming because was convinced that they were spies to torture me for information. Then my legs were strapped together and was handcuffed and carried into the back of a police van. They took me to Shamrock with a siren. I removed the leg restraints with my teeth but that did not stop them from carrying me into the sect 136 suite.

I'm sorry, that sounds terrible, but it's really positive that you will be out soon. I hope this weekend goes smoothly for you, what you have planned sounds good.
Take care of yourself hun, you're in my thoughts.

Finally got internet access in this ward (the open one). I've been moved to the open ward and I'm looking at going home early next week. I am doing a lot better and may be changing doctors because my doctor and care co-ordinator are useless. My doctor told me off for being sectioned and my care co-ordinator told me to "go home and have a bath" when I called her in extreme distress only hours before I got section 136-ed.
I am glad to be back on this site and I hope that I will be able to go home soon and get proper (fast) internet access.

Take care of yourself over the next few days and keep us updated!

Hey Oly thats great that things are getting better.Thats fantastic!Well done!!And its great to see you around the site again.i am sorry for all the bad experiences you have had/described though.i hope you can get through them and find some meaningful support also.
i do not always manage to be around but i wish you all the very best - love and luck to you all!
Thank you all. If you were physically in front of me, I would hug you all immediately.
I need to get my Dad to talk to the nurses about how bad things still are though. Because of my Asperger's syndrome, I find it incredibly hard to go up to a nurse and tell him/her about the voices etc.
The memories are probably going to hurt me for months to come.

Well such experiences ARE very traumatic, yes. I hope you can get proper help to process all of this. I'm really glad you're doing better, though. *hugs tight*
Oly, you don't know me (ashton) by name or perhaps not at all, and i don't always reply to your posts, but i always read them. You have a strong charisma, and it pains me to hear of your turmoil. I think you are pretty incredible and want to say that, wow, you've done so well and been SO strong, congratulations.
I don't hate you in the slightest nor do i think anyone else does. I feel a little bad at the moment, replying to this post when i haven't been there for you in the past, but i have read your posts and thought of you, i hope things look up. It's great to be hearing a positive note in your posts. We miss you.
Ash n co.
Thanks all, if you were physically in front of me, I would be hugging you all really tight.
Ward round has started and I'm waiting my turn. I'm as nervous as crap. I will tell the doctors the whole truth, but I will tell them that it would be therapeutic for me to have some leave.
I miss you all and I wish that we could do a meet up, sadly I live in London and you all live all over England.
Thanks.

You should go to one of the London meets, I think there's one coming up in August?
I know I don't know you well or vice verca, but I've read your posts and you're a wonderful person. I'm glad you're doing better now, and I wish you good luck in getting out as soon as possible. Take care of yourself x
Wake me up before I change again
Remind me the story that I won't get insane
Tell me why it's always the same
Explain me the reason why I'm so much in pain.
*smooches*
I love you so much <3 & I'm incredibly proud of you!
You can fight this, its so uplifting to hear your doing better.
Maybe therapy could help with the memories?
