Um i don't know where to start, my afflictoin has taken most of my family one way or the other, alcholism and drugs ruled most of my adult life.. that beinng said I am a functioning alcholic and on the verge of loosing everything i've worked for and I can't stop...most of all a woman whos stood by me through it all......... Most,, no all of my friends drink but when i drink i can't stop I don't mean for the night, I mean for the week and i drink hard and I m spinning out of control..I'm not sure what I'm looking for here but nobody i know can relate to what I'm going through.... I am on my way out,, jail or death sooner or later and I'm not sure about anything..somehow I've managed a good and decent living /career. It's slowly slipping away at my own fault.. Alchol calls me is this hareditary why are my friend able to handle it. why does alchol affect me the way it does... just to touch on another point my upbring was nothing but perfect, single parent but my mother is a saint.hard working honest woman.Shes sufferd through my brothers death, my fathers death his two brother alll from the same thing, i fear this is my destiny...

hiya. im newww. i found out about this site from a book for self harm support kinda thing in the library. just wanting to talk to similar people who have samee problems and how they deal with it in their day-to-day life. cause lately.. its just been a bit over-whelming for me..
