[Queer Fringe]

I know there's someone
that watches over me
making sure I'm okay
someone I can never see
I will be one of them one day.

I know it for sure
when I'm gone my guardian will be given
a new life and a new person
when I'm accepted in heaven.

(I don't really like this one...lol)

so deep with regret
the boy with the black baloon
the day he thought he'd never forget.

bang bang, he was up at dawn

such a shame, now he's gone.

The Pain-Inside And Out


The cuts on my arms are deep
but they are deeper on my heart
so much pain I cannot sleep
it's tearing me apart.

Someone please save me
I don't know what is wrong
this life is full of stupidity
I don't know if I belong.

So give me a night of decent sleep
and someone I can talk to
someone who wont leave my side
maybe someone like you.

There was nothing wrong with my life
but I have made it so
I've only told a few people
that I feel this low.

But they continued to think I was fine
until one day they could see
the cuts on my blood and tear stained wrists
because they turned their backs on me.

The petals of a flower
deep in thought
grows too old
and feels distraught.

The abandoned carpark
with time so slow
looks so lonely
and feels so low.

The never-ending roundabouts
are like my love for you
we both had feelings for each other
no-one knew.

Scars In The Shade


We wont know how bad our scars are
until someone else is there
people look at you from afar
but they just stare and stare.

There will be no reason why
we will just sit and wonder
other people will sob and sigh
while the world crashes like thunder.

The red hot lines have faded
just like anger upon our arm
the tears have left us jaded
Our battle hiding self-harm!

We've found out what it's like to cry
while the voices stop and fade
please don't think we want to die
the scars are in the shade.

You are so talented Aunty Hazel XD
You should get them published in some sort of book about teenage emotions. Maybe to help parents etc. understand what their child might be going through?
I dunno, just a thought :)

Love it!! I love the use of the red nail varnish, its a very clever way of desribing it!! Ps I have no idea how to get them published but it would be awesome if you could!! I think you really capture what SI is like, and loads of people can relate to them (including moi). Let me know if you put any more on !!

Your eyes are like glass balls
so discreet and obscure
something's gnawing at your mind
but you are not really sure.

Your presence is melancholy
no-one knows why
when you get the chance
you sit and think and cry.

You finally get lost
confused in all the tears
thinking about life and death
and swallowed by your fears.


Yeah, I'm not very good at naming poems lol.

I've started to hold my tears back
that's right
they wont be seen
I'm gonna fight
If I start to cry
I cant control
people wont find out
release my soul
I feel the tears coming
on my wrist
not from my eyes
I cant resist.
Get rid of them all
crimson and clear
no-one would ever know
Hiding the tear.

xx Y'see I write these poems on my low when I'm more creative, but when I'm manic It's when I actually feel creative and some of my 'manic' poems are pants! I will try find some for you to have a laugh at lol there aren't much and they're not finished to be honest because I attract my attention to something else :-P
