I'd say bass clarinet. My brother has one. But if you're getting one and can afford it, get a Selmer, they go down to the bottom C, but are way more expensive. and the best money can buy. My college has two. Bass flutes are just a tiny lil bit of money lol... and you don't just want a bass, you want a triple bass. they go round in a complete triangle and rest on a small peg just off the floor. lol. i have gotta get me one of those...

If I get a bass clarinet I'll only get a basic one. Don't want anything too fancy as there's not an excessive demand for it :P

I'm doing A level Music. Not actually enjoying it that much at the moment, practising for my 20 minute recital really sucks the fun out of playing. That and I have my grade 8 piano tomorrow :|

other than that I've got grade 6 clarinet and grade 2 violin. Ended up deciding against Music at uni for various reasons but am still hoping to take a module or two in it if possible.
