Do you cry?

I cut in order to stop crying. Ordinarily it's very difficult and I sometimes get hysterical, but cutting seems to clear that up. I can get ahold of myself at once and just go on.

i find i always cry myself to sleep.
cutting sometimes makes me cry cuz after i feel a complet let down.

I used to hurt myself to make myself cry.
Trauma re-enactment. Kind of.

As I get more emotionally secure I seem to cry less. But there's lots of sadness, lots of tears. I know they're there. But I tend to hold them back because I'm scared once I start I'll never stop crying, or I'm scared I'll start crying somewhere too public. Mind you, I cried all the way home on the tube from therapy once, 5 years back.

I get teary eyes often though.

When I first started harming, I used to cry but I've been doing it for so many years now that It's almost like I have no tears to cry anymore.

i absolutely hate crying
it frustrates and irritates me and brings back to many bad memories
often feel like i havent got no tears to cry anyway
and dont see the point in it really sorry

Cutting is my relief from all the emotions i can't face ,
I've started cutting cause i can't cry in the first place ...

I've cried a lot on the tube, it's so horrible, feels like the longest time till you get home. I just wanted the ground to swallow me up. That's one of the reasons i started cutting again as i cried everywhere, even on tube and buses etc.

hey, i can't cry anymore i often think that if i could then i wouldnt need to cut as much, like the cutting has replaced the crying somehow. so your not the only one. love rachel xxxxxxxxxxxx.

I'm the same.
Since I started cutting, I've had a much harder time crying.

Although once I start, I can't stop.
Sometimes I don't want to cry, but can't help it. Mainly cause I've not cut in a few days. Cutting does seem to stop me being able to cry, even though sometimes I would like to.

i cant cry either, i am not sure if it may be the medication numbing my emotions
