nooo idea what i'm doing this year. i think just drinking too much & probably standing/roaming around london drunk.

Boyfriend's hosting a party this year :D so getting mashed with good company, having a kiss at midnight then passing out in a bed...

Last year I spent it in a coffeeshop in olde Amsterdam, where they were setting off fireworks in the middle of the street. Nothing will beat that.

Be with friends. Enjoy your friends. Have a drink or three with your friends. But don't, above all, become aggressively drunk - in my book a cardinal sin. Enjoy the evening, but try to end up mellow, caring, friendly to the point of being boring - but be nice.
And, don't, on pain of death, try driving or allowing yourself to be driven by someone who's pissed or stoned. There are so many alternatives, like not going beyond walking distance of home. Or, because many people live outside of Clubland, book a taxi now, once you've agreed your plans with your friends. Make a plan in advance,(it won't actually cost you any more), and you won't have to end up in the gutter wondering how the hell to get home.
Do have fun - but don't hurt yourself or your reputation (what the hell's a reputation in January 2008?) I'll tell you in another post ...

I usually end up spending it with my (Christian) friends.. We have a 'gathering' - meaning no music, no alcohol, no celebration.. Just a load of chatter. It's generally okay.. One year we went to watch fireworks which was cool.. This year though, no f*cking clue - the Christians are all going to a Christian event.. & they're basically all of my mates, haha.. >.<

I stay home and hope nothing goes wrong in Times Square - since I'll know 50 people down there. Worst holiday of the year here.
