Aww, thank you Kat.

Of course, you probably wouldn't be saying that if you saw me jumping from one foot to the other, flicking my hands and squealing "eeeeeeeeeeeee"

Hehe

I used to have pet mice, so sure.

Haha, and quite a few years ago, when I still lived on a farm, we had mouse plagues. We had so many mice around our cats were overwhelmed. We had to make sure that all food was locked away and inaccessible to the little buggers.

One mouse I can deal with, no worries.

Hundreds, and the odds are stacked against me...

Spray spiders with fly spray and they die. takes longer for big ones though.

that said i would just scream, and keep screaming until someone got rid of the thing. i cannot stand spiders,, bugs or anything like that.

OMG I HHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAATE bugs. *shudders*

One of the most terrifying events of my life..

I was working in a city in the more southern regions of the US, and the ambulance had been called to this old dilapidated house that looked as if was about to fall over and should be condemned. So we walk in this house and it's pitch black and about 98 degrees with 99% humidity. It's rank and it smells like something has died in this place.

So the people yell that they are upstairs, and we can't see a foot in front of our faces, let alone find the steps, so the ambulance driver finds a light switch and flips it on illuminating a room that looks like the Antique Roadshow met a hurricane.

Then, the wallpaper starts to move, and we can hear this little clicking sound.

The whole area between the walls and the wallpaper was filled with cockroaches! I thought I was going to scream, or faint or something. I don't think i've ever been so freaked out before in my life.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.

Ewwww that's so gross, I hate cockroaches. I mean, one is bad enough, I can't imagine a whole bunch of them!

Now i'm not scared of spiders but I just looked up a huntsman on wikipedia and holy crap!!!!! I'm not surprised you drowned the thing! I mean I'm all for setting spiders free myself but if it was drown it or have to pick the thing up, then I think you made the right choice!

Aidey, that is a terrible thing to happen.

it reminds me of a time............

i was on holiday in ghana with my family - we are making a 24hour bus trip with ONE toilet break, and my sister had eaten something dodgy... SO she had to go. She is goes around to where the toilet is (and by toilet i mean empty ground behind the building) when the lights go OUT. she figures this is better, cause unlike the women in ghana, she has to pull her pants down to pee (lots of ghanaians didn't wear underwear, they just hiked their dresses and went standing up), so doing this in the (pitch) dark means no one will see her. she is with my mum and they comment on the rustling sound everyone is making around her. then my sister puts her hand on the wall to steady herself, and she said that it felt like the wall was moving...

SUDDENLY the lights come back on - there my sister is squatting with her pants around her ankles, doing whatever she is doing, whilst holding onto a wall that is covered in GIANT COCKROACHES.

I could hear the scream from the bus!!!
