Well it's been another month and I am still free! That makes it 4 years 2 months. I just can't wait until December when it's 2 years 6 months and I get another reward.

Well today I am another month free of SI ! Yay! I am also halfway towards 6 months free which means more rewards.
My parents are away on holiday and apart from a increase in drinking I am coping well. But not enough to get drunk. I am trying to keep busy. I have only a week to go and I get my parents back.

Thanks everyone.
Although I am drinking more it's a lot less than what I used to when in crisis. I actually managed not to drink last night. My cpn says she is not worried about my drinking. I know that I will stop when my parents come back. Otherwise I am coping fine according to my cpn because I have not SIed or ODed.

Not long until my 4 years!
I used to drink a lot, all the time, I know it's hard to break the habit, but if it helps I hardly drink much at all now. Whereas before I kind of needed to, now I can completely take it or leave it and it doesn't bother me at all to leave it.
I hope that gives you some encouragement.

My parents are back but I haven't done so well in my drinking. I get horrible urges to drink and I give in. It's like SI urges but drink instead. I am determined to get back to normal drinking wise but it's so hard atm.

My cpn only works part time and she isn't in until Wednesday. That's a lot of drinking time. I know I will win eventually but it's getting there that will be hard. I don't want to be addicted because that's what's happened in the past. I ended up buying alcohol today.
