What Snow White said about creating a good existence for yourself regardless of whether to perceive yourself as alive or dead really spoke to me. What do you think of that?

hey love, i don't think it's that nobody believes you. i agree with whirlpools: we all believe that you feel you're dead, but our perception is that you're alive. and i doubt any of us feel like you're making it up or like you're trying to mess with people. it certainly is a legitimate question- please don't feel like anyone is trying to make your question seem less than valid!
anyway, i agree with previous comments- if you are already dead, what good would killing yourself again do?
also, i'm certain your therapist isn't blackmailing you! i, too, have to pay a fee when i see mine, and my mom has to do the same with hers. it's common practice, i think! so that the therapist/doctor can pay their fees too. nothing menacing going on there :)

I have to agree with the above two posts, it isn't that people don't believe you, it's that we are trying to help you find ways to learn the truth about what is going on that aren't potentially going to cause you a lot of harm.

Thank you. I will think about what Aimee said. But I am unsure because I am supposed to be dead either way. But I will think about it and I will try to keep an open mind.

Well if I'm already dead I can't die again, and if I'm not then I will be dead, so it would all be sorted. It's not the fee that is blackmail. It is that if I do not see her every week or two weeks then I cannot use their services anymore. That is the blackmail part of it to me, especially given she knows that the fees and the scheduling and going that often are issues for me.

I am glad people do not think I am lying. I do not like lying and I would not do that. I do not trust doctors, at all. So unless it is a medical emergency I would never go to one.

People can be physically alive and dead inwardly. If people start to respond more to stresses and events and crazy/mean/guileful people "outside" them then they lose the connection and response-abillity to their inner self. Its a contest between two different pressures. As people lose awareness, they also lose awareness of the fact that they've lost awareness.
One sign people are lost is they think too much. Birds, cats, dogs - animals in general - don't have to think about who and what they are. Only people get tangled up like that. Young kids are actually very aware and perceptive. If you talk to them they see and understand a lot of things better than adults. Its only as they grow up and get upset, disappointed, abused, confuses etc that they fall into their own thoughts and feelings trying to discover who they are.

I am unsure. Honestly. As I said before the only thing I can think of that would be definite would be to do something that would kill me.

If you were dead physically you couldn't be frustrated - or move, type or debate. Next time you're hungry don't eat. Dead people don't get hungry lol. Knowing if your dead or alive isn't really a puzzle to be solved anymore than knowing day from night. You either know or you don't.
